It seems we need two sets of instructions. Coming from modded and coming from stock.

I came from the "black market". It is already uppercase V in system/app. I only had to delete the com.vending one from data/data, leave the cim.vending updater alone, flash the dark blues and I was good to go.

From stock it sounds like you'll have to delete the vending.apk from data/app and from data/data, again leaving the updater alone. Then flash the dark blues and all should be cool. Did I miss anything from stock?

No you didn't. Just has a different name in data /app. Com. Something vending. Lol. Not sure exactly

Thanks, glad you finally got it installed. Stoney, you had a wifi icon on one of your screen shots in your flip clock thread. It looked like the one on the wifi analyzer app, any chance i could get a copy? Would love to add to my task bar as animated.

Works great! Upgraded from version 2.2.6, I wiped cache & dalvik cache before I flashed the new market. Running CM6.1
