Ok so you got rid of ALL files with the word Vending, including Vending.apk in the system/apps?

Then you installed an "Official" Vending 2.2.11? Where did you get an official file to download? And did you flash this or manually move it to the proper location.

So if I am not understanding correctly, just want to be sure I get this correct. I fought with this for a couple days and would like to get it to work.

Thanks

I'll post the official one in a few unless Fernando does it.
It is a Vending.apk and it goes in system/app. I deleted anything that had to do with the market. Then I adb pushed the official Vending.apk that I got by googling Vending.apk.
You can try installing it as it should install correctly.Check & make sure its in system/app after you install.
Next flash the unsigned version over it through clockwork.

I can confirm that this works, I lost mine when doing a nandroid yesterday. When I booted up the market did the silent update. I tried to flash the Cyan one and no dice. So I found a stock signed version, deleted all vending.coms and vending.apk( had no market files other than the updater files) Flashed the signed stock one I found and it installed to sys/app, then flashed Cyan market over top and worked like a champ. This is the second time I've done this, so I know it works. Hope this helps some of the people that are having problems.

Here's the official 2.2.11 market.
Now this is just a regular zip folder, you have to unzip this and take the Vending.apk out and install it like any other app.
Don't try to flash this zip because it's not scripted to flash.
make sure this is the only vending.apk you have.
Look in system/app and in data/app also data/data.......I even went as far as to delete my vending file in data/dalvik-cache...........delete all of em' ( I did).
then "FLASH" an "UNSIGNED" Vending.apk of the same version but edited of your own personal interest, over the unedited Vending.apk.
This is what worked for me.
I'd put it in a flashable file but I'm on edifying script so it might not be compatible with your clockwork, but you can put the apk in an update.zip that is compatible with the clock work your using and flash it if you like.

Does anyone use (Epic) Bonsai ROM? If so since the new Market 2.2.12 has any one been able to get a themed version to work? If so what themed version are you using and how did you get it flashed and working?

thanks.

Ok I got the market back, thank you so much for that. But the theme didn't work. I think I'm just going to leave it alone, lol. Don't want to lose it again.
