Did you apply the cmtheme? My ongoing notifications are viewable, not seeing what your talking about. Can you post a screenshot ?

Thx for the response. I apply the theme but I'm being picky and prefer black\dark tiles with white txt like my screenshots above. With this theme installed, I can get everything the way I like it with the exception of the ongoing tile. It's always white no matter what I do. I can change the text to black so I can see it but I'm trying to go white txt on a black tile like my pre-theme screenshot above. It seems to only happen with active downloads. If I'm playing a song or have other ongoing notifications they are fine.

I believe you need to pull and edit the statusbar xml file from framework apk.

Cool. I may just take you up on that and learn how to tinker with things under the hood Thanks so much for porting this over and giving us AOSP\CM folks options.

klittle81, it sounds like you too are trying to use the black option(s). I noticed the missing GPS icon as well but the whited out active downloads bug me the most.

I can also confirm this works on Nightly #177 It's amazing.

yes, ive posted a new zip in the op that includes the updated gmail, facebook and voicesearch apks. If you flashed the previous gmail zip this is safe to use.

Gmail is working ok here.

Try clearing your Gmail cache/data from settings > applications > manage applications. Also try running fix permissions from rom manager.

i bootlooped at 184 too - dont think inexus is compatible beyond 181 or 182. mopperx will probably update this once we get 6.1.1 stable for the inc - which will most likely be 184 (since there are no nightlies beyond that and i believe CM is now going gingerbread).

until then i am patiently at 181. stock google AOSP is horrendously ugly without decent themes. why cant google make the UI pretty? very underwhelmed with gingerbread UI, icons - plain jane again....
