I changed something, thought it might affect some users. Could you please go in to data/app and check for com.htc.album-1.apk
and make sure that is the only one in there?

Thanks. Will look today.

Removed the album apk which wasn't in theme zip and still header is purple, as are othe pop ups in album and camera. Should I have removed the apk that was pushed by theme zip?

If you delete com.htc.album.apk from data/app of your device, then reboot, hopefully you will have no gallery after reboot.
After that, extract the gallery apk from data/app of zip and copy to data/app of device, fix permissions and reboot. I'm hoping after this, you will have gallery back and it will match whatever theme you're on. If not, I'll have to scratch my head a bit. [emoji12]

The possibility exists that when I choose the black theme menu buttons and notifications are green and not red? Thanks.
I will need to know what option you chose in aroma, which theme you chose in settings > personalize > theme and also screenshots to figure this out.

Removing the apk from /data/app and rebooting does not result in loss of Gallery app.
I did find HMS_Gallery.apk in /system/priv-app, maybe this file needs to be replaced as well?

EDIT: Just replaced HMS_Gallery.apk in /system/priv-app with the apk from theme zipfile (renamed it before replacing), set permissions, reboot and now the top bar resembles the chosen theme (background is still white though).

Yeah, haven't inverted gallery, just matched colour. My phone used to be able to be themed by editing HMS_Gallery but then it switched to only using the one from data/app. Guess I'm going to have to cover both bases. Can you still edit images etc?

Editing pictures taken by camera still works.

The background of blink feed articles are still white. Is it possible to make this dark too?

Gesendet von meinem HTC One_M8 mit Tapatalk
Yeah, I purposely didn't touch BlinkFeed as I was expecting a load of updates to come through from the devs with Prism mods. Hasn't really happened so far though, so will look into it.

I chose the dark headers and blue accents for the theme but the TV app has a pink headers. Just pointing it out. Otherwise great work on the theme, love it.

Hmmm. I'll look into it, thanks.

It should look like the rest of the settings.

So you weren't on the green theme and that screen went green?

I guess not, Sprint seems always to be last on the list. Not even a " not for Sprint " on the page.:) My favorite Rom for sure, can't wait!
Does ViperOne support Sprint yet? I'm not even sure.

SetupWizard

Hey Basil,

Attached some screenshots of setupwizard with white on white.
Possibly it's just 1 background color code that needs to be changed.
Also attached 2 screenshots of APM with icons cut-off and a screenshot of grid selection in prism.
Haven't looked into these myself (was busy S-Offing).

Splash + Bootanim + Downanim + TWRP Theme

Peeps,

For all of you interested, I created a ViperOneM8 splash screen and matching boot- and downanimations and TWRP Themes.
Courtesy to @Whiskey103 for creating the original ones for our ViperOne powered M7.
All I did was add an M8 to all the images.

The boot- and downanimations do NOT need to be flashed (in fact they can't be flashed with these zipfiles). Just put em on internal storage or sd card and select them through VenomTweaks.

As for the splash screen, this needs to be flashed in RUU mode:

1. adb reboot-bootloader
2. fastboot oem rebootRUU
3. fastboot flash zip [zipfile]
4. fastboot reboot

Make sure you are supercid (fastboot oem writecid 11111111), otherwise nothing will happen. Take note of your original cid (fastboot oem readcid) in case you want to change back to it (fastboot oem writecid [previously noted cid].
As of now it should no longer be required to have supercid in order to flash the splash screens. I have updated the zipfiles with cid numbers found in 1.54.401.5 firmware zipfile and added VZW__001 for Verizon support.

Please note that I am not responsible for any damage on your device. Flash at your own risk.

Thanks to @hd2neuling for pointing this out

TWRP theme zipfile needs to be renamed to ui.zip and placed in TWRP/theme folder on internal storage. Although the filename might suggest you need TWRP 2.7.0.3, this zip can be used on TWRP 2.7.x.x The new ui.xml from TWRP 2.7.1.0 is slightly different than the old one, although the theme zipfile may work, you might lose some functionality (preferred method is to use the hardcoded theme).

The hardcoded theme downloads can be flashed in recovery (untested for Verizon). Afterwards reboot recovery to see the effect.

As for the Verizon recoveries, since I do not own a Verizon device, these are currently untested. So keep a copy of the original recovery at hand.
I have uploaded flashable zipfiles as well as .img files for Verizon. Please test the flashable zipfile(s) and let me know if they work. If so, I will remove the .img files.

Also attached some screenshots

Enjoy.

Bootanimations fixed based on @Kiray1982 comment.

Download links

Code:
[B]NOTE:[/B]
In order for the OS version to show in bootloader again, first flash the new recovery zipfile I posted here and afterwards reflash the appropriate firmware zipfile through fastboot again. Do it in this order or your OS version will be empty again.

Cheers for that. Haven't done set up wizard, will look at it later. I never come across this as you would have to wipe then flash theme straight after ROM to see this, I'd imagine.

Haven't inverted Prism, so that popup makes sense.

No clue what is going on with your apm.
