Clock App Red Color Different, Task Manager not themed.

Red is fixed in the latest version on the hub. Won't look into Task Manager, it's no longer supported by HTC, has just been added from old base.

I have a small problem after I updated the system to 2.2.0 when I install the ViperDark 2.2.0 my phone doesn't boot and it gets stuck on the white htc boot screen. please help i really like the theme.

Yes it did, I even flashed the rom again did a clean flash and updated the rom and then installed the theme and got the error again.

Updated to 2.2.0, then flashed ViperDark 2.2.0 without problems. Not sure what the problem is with your device.

I installed the stock kernel from the aroma installer? can it be whats causing the issue?

Also I have removed hangouts from my system, probably the theme is looking for hangouts during the installation. Anyhow im trying clean installation now i ll let you know how it goes

I'm not sure what is going on with your set up. Have you tried downloading the theme again? I've downloaded from the hub again, and it installed fine. Have checked with a couple of users and it is working without issue.

No plans, sorry. You could just use the aosp theme, think it's heavily based on ViperDark anyway.

What colour would you like the music player in a dark theme, if not dark?

Maybe a light theme is more to your taste.

In any case, you're pretty much stuck with it as it is, since most of the colours come from resources. Flashing themes over the top of each other will create a mess, and probably won't achieve what you want with music player.

i liked everything else dark...but i always prefer my music players with light and bright colors lol personal preference.....ok got you so is there a way i can uninstall this and flash a light one?

Mainly under the hood changes (thanks to @Kiray1982)

I've thought long and hard about the best way to do custom themes, and the way I've done it changes your second theme to your custom one. I recommend you don't use the first theme, but it also leaves you with all of the other themes working on the fly. I could have made your custom theme the default theme, but you would lose on the fly theming. I'm sure from your feedback, I'll be told which is best.

To do your own ViperLight custom colour (requires ViperLight 2.2.1 to be flashed first, preferably without extended colours):

1. Download ViperLight Custom zip from here, and unzip on your PC.
2. Download HxD hex editor from here
3. In the unzipped file, navigate to \vrtheme\system\framework\com.htc.resources.apk and open the resources.arsc with HxD
4. Using the replace function (ctrl+r) replace 12 34 56 with your chosen hex. Two values should be replaced. Please note, that you need to reverse your number for hex, so 33 B5 E5 (ICS Blue) would become E5 B5 33 when replacing with HxD. Also ensure that you are searching in hex-values, as pictured below.

5. Save the file in HxD (and you can delete the .bak file in the folder), then zip the files back up.
6. Copy to device and flash in recovery. Your custom theme will be theme number two.

just wondering if anyone could create statusbar icons similar to these? had on my GSIV and loved em, and been rocking the iOS ones for quite a long time now lol....
