Thank you. I love when the community works together. I also took the latest update for our s7 edge and can confirm it no longer works for me even after clearing and disabling both themes packages. It still works on my note 5 though.

Apply theme
Disable themes with package Disabler pro
Clear recent apps
Setting>applications>app manager>more>system apps>themes>clear cache and data. no themes in list because disabled before
I'm on PG1 (latest update) and if you follow these steps then you will be good. I am enjoying the theme without issue.

How can clear cach and data of the theme while it was disable before ?
When disable theme store that will be not in apps list. Mean we do step 2, we can not do step 4.

I am not having any issues following these steps. What are you using for a phone? what are you using to disable the two theme files?

I'm a lil confused. I downloaded and was able to install without package disabler pro. Do i need that?

---------- Post added at 09:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:45 AM ----------

Also i've noticed someone in another thread a user had the batman icon for the battery meter instead of the stock battery icon in the notification section of the phone on top.

***EDit

Ok i think i need the package disabler. Just had the them revert to the one i had before. I can't seem to find the EZRA disabler. only other ones. Can someone post a screenshot of the one they are using?

Update. As previously mentioned if you reboot u need to do all steps again. Even enabling theme back.
Someone is going to have an issue doing this, so let me just throw it out there...if you reboot, think. You must enable the theme from pdp first before you can do the rest of the steps. I know - it should be a no brainer

Update*
Went to samsung customer service and confirmed there was an issue with my screen. Had a dead pixel and white line in the lower bottom of screen. Was repaired under warranty at no cost. For a moment i was thinking it was the theme but now that i got my phone back no issues and theme sticks. Still, i will not reboot cause i do not want to do all these steps again.

Falling to reboot your phone "because you don't want to have to do these steps all over again. " is silly.

Seriously, it takes less than 2 minutes. If that. Folks, it is not that challenging of a task. And if you reboot and don't repeat the steps, then so goes life.

If you reboot your phone another easiest way to simply keep the theme is to

1. Wait until you get the theme trial notification to appear.

2. Long press that notification

3. Click on the "i" icon to go to apps info of Themes

4. Wipe cache and data

5. Done. No need to freeze the app or anything else. Profit.

No one said it isnt easy. I for one value my time and those 2 mins are a waste if i have to do it each time. The point of not wanting to reboot is not the time it takes, its the forgetting to do steps all over.

Luckily for me i do t have the necessity to reboot my phone...as often.

Hey if you got all the time in the world ?✌.

I have a samsung s7 edge G935FD. And i have a rooted device.

First one thing should be clear , with latest security patch samsung has fiddled with theme center and this theme will not stick after reboot.

All old methods with moving json file from trial to user json will not work. theme will revert to default only wallpaper and icons will stay not UI

The only way i found it to work on firmwares with latest security patch by samsung is that . if you are rooted , is apply this theme then use a root browser go to system/apps and rename Galaxythemes.apk and themecenter.apk to .bak fro apk

now the theme will stick after reboot but you would not be able to change themes on the go. you have to rename these apks back to normal, reboot, reapply theme and then again rename these apks to bak and reboot

thats the only way to make the theme stick after reboot, it sucks but thats the only way . you woulnt find this solution anywhere . i tried it after multiple reboots

And by the way you cannot freeze themecentre with even titaniumbackup anymore on firmwares with latest security patch
