blackVenoM9 v6.2.0 inverted Sense 8 theme for viperOne 6.2.0

Here comes blackVenoM9, a full flashable theme that takes the customisation to the next level.
Use any color as your theme color in few simple steps (see post #3)

Features

after inastallation go to personalize -> change accent color -> switch to the matching color chosen in aroma setup.

How to set your own theme color

here´s how to apply your own custom theme color for blackVenoM9.

*** Global Theme Colors ***
1) Download the blackVenoM9-patcher_xxx.zip from post #1
2) open it and navigate to folder /vrtheme/
3) drag the file colors.txt to your desktop & leave the zip opened
4) open it with a propper text editor (must be able to handle UNIX txt format)
- DONT use windows notepad! it will mess up the whole thing!
5) change only the colors in the standard AARRGGBB format leaving everything else untouched
- note... the AA stands for Alpha value. so 00 will be 100% transparent, ff 0% transparent
6) save, exit and drag colors.xml back to the zip into the /vrtheme/ folder

*** Custom HTC Theme ***
Now included in colors.txt...
You can individually set the backgrounds and theme colors for all 4 HTC categories

*** Graphic resources ***
Note that some colors in the ROM are pulled from image resources.
If you want to improve your custom theme, edit all graphic ressources needed in /drawables/ subfolders
and in common_resources folder.
I placed inverted resources with stock icons there as a base...

i recommend using imBatch to change hue in all subfolders at once

only be careful with all .9.png files (only few) the should be decompiled before editing
but as long as they are only doing a plain color it doesnt really matter...

*** Extended theming ***
with the extended theming option you´ll be able to set color values and settings in VenomTweaks.
the values are stored in extended/theme.prop

again, use a text editor as described above to edit theme.prop
--> color values must be encoded in XML format - a great little tool for the conversion can be found --> here
--> tweaks can be enabled by setting it to 1 and disabled by setting it to 0
--> unwanted changes can be deleted or commented-out by placing a # at the beginning fo the unwanted line

Last steps are to copy the modified zip to your device and flash it in recovery

so.... anybody get this weird screen and can't login after applying this theme?

I know I ran into this same issue when trying a different ROM as well. Is it DotView? How do I remove/prevent it from taking over my phone and keeping me out of the phone?

yeah it looks like dotview...
very strange... assume you dont have a dotview cover ?

You could try dirty flash viperone - remove dotview in aroma if possible and then
delete dotview from my theme zip before flashing it.
its found in system/priv-app/HtcDotMatrix

but i never heared about this issue yet...
maybe there´s sth wrong with your phones sensors.
even if i try i cant get to this screen - i guess its activated when the phone thinks the dotview cover is on....
without the cover you shouldnt see it.

Don't use a DotView cover (or even have Dot View installed). I'll probably give it another go after removing DotView apks from the zip.

Luckily I always make a nandroid backup before changes like these, so restored with no issues.

It's been a long time, I've been stuck on my old One X up until yesterday, so I'm just catching up with all the changes here. I've flashed your theme and it looks great. Just one thing, I appear to be missing my bluetooth icon in the status bar, and my music widget doesn't have any controls on it. I've searched but can't see an answer. Are these bugs in the theme, or have I done something wrong?
