yes, dont use the mod from the hub... its for stock / unthemed rom.
if you test the color patcher you can set the background color for the tiles in the text file....
its the line near the bottom which reads:

ff171717    | <---- NEQS Tile Background color

the first 2 characters set the alpha value....
ff means no transparency, 00 100% transparent...
try 6600000 for semi transparent.

if you dont want to change single values in colors.txt you can put an # at the beginning of the line with that value.
it wont be processed then when you flash it

Where do you get that permission error?
Is the system modified in any way after you reboot?
Are you having the same issues with other themes / mods?

Where do you get that permission error? The error is happening during the install of the theme.
Is the system modified in any way after you reboot? After reboot system does go through a optomizing 1 of 1 app, before getting me to home screen.
Are you having the same issues with other themes / mods? Havent tried any other mods since 3.0.0. Themes before venom 3.0 had been working.

Which options did you select in aroma?
Seems the updater-script wants to do stuff not necessary based on your choices.

I'm choosing whats available. Inverted Sense and Themed Fullscreen CallerID, Cyan, ATT, and then Install Now. I also just noticed that after attempting to install the theme my gallery is no longer working.

is your sd full by any chance ?
you need a couple of 100 MB´s for the installation...

is it the same result when you choose default carrier ?
this is ok as long you are not on tmous...

how did you et the log ? with adb ?
i´ve seen when i use aroma the log copied to sd doesnt show all ui outputs from updater script and the sh scripts...
so its pretty useless...

thats strange... what i could read about this error was concerning stuff i dont use - so i have no idea atm what could cause this...
is that just with my installer or does it happen with other themes too ?

I havent tried other Themes as yours is the only one in the HUB.

updated color patcher

- added the ability to hex edit integers (now its possible to change ambient display duration with the patcher for example)
- added common drawable resources

note that there are changes in color.txt
so dont use the old colors.txt in the new color patcher

Was able to finish the install successfully. I am now at the Optimizing app screen. Flashed the new drop of the theme, from outside the HUB.

I was taking a photo of a beer bottle and I thought it won't focus no matter the distance or mode...

But then I realized that white-to-green focus marker is now white-to-red, cause of red theme.

So, only way to know if it's focused is to look if it's focused. Conclusion: not a real problem.

Also lockscreen is tweaked...
So there won't be a themed version until it's pushed by team venom

yeah, i changed the green images to red... but what is the problem ?

The other is on the other two screenshot was wondering if I could make those ff000000 apm and sounds and notification expanded black i can't seem to find those. Excellent job on the theme. It looks amazing. I love this theme.

the first thing with the keyboard is on me
just never saw that screen....
will look into it.

for 2 &3 : those are drawables and have to be changed per app...
should be common_dialogbox_center and bottom (dont ask which one - i forgot)

but they are in common_resources folder and will be copied to most places....
note that you can delete all image-resources you dont want to flash
