Lol Yea the phone just dwells in the bottom of my bag.
I won't be selling it though cos its a nice backup phone and I need abit of sense from time to time.
I hope the family is all ok.
I'll be back soon with the new version.

Ok well ive got a very early version for you. For those that cant wait. There are some things i havent been able to track down yet like the dock at the bottom, there was a background image I wasnt able to locate so its just the standard dock at the moment. I wasnt able to track down the files for the settings widget yet either and many of the htc widgets are not done. There is 70 odd so its not an easy job.

Its all my framework though, same as before, battery etc. Most of the core android widgets are glassed and the htc clock.

Thats all I can handle for the evening.

Do a nandroid if your trying this.

Enjoy!

Well first step is to do a NANDROID back up!
then as you are Standard HBOOT and so is the Leedroid you can give it a shot...but expect it not to work. Just see what happens.
I'm now downloading the file and will take a look to see what happens if I can get it to install with my IC v51 CM7r2 HBOOT (I will need to change the Zip wrapper for sure).

It might be possible that we can inject esk02k Glassed files in to our Framework files and then flash it but time will tell.

It might be possible that we can inject esk02k Glassed files in to our "com.htc.resources.apk" & "framework-res.apk" files and then flash it for InsertCoin. But to do that the easiest way would be to upload our files to esk02k and for him to inject only the Glassed and battery icon files in to our InsertCoin ones.

Esk02k............what do you think or you prefer to link me to the files for each of the Framework files?

Well I flashed it to my CM7r2 HBOOT and it did not boot loop me so that was nice! however observations are:

1) Loose the SENSE 3.0 lock screen and Icons (to be expected as this is Leedroid lock screen).
2) lost the "Vibrate" icon from the power menu. But is there in the Quick Settings menu.
3) No Glass effect on the Clock back ground.
4) buttons on the Music Widget are Black and not glassed.
5) widget header bars not glassed.

Just a quick test as Im off to bed now. Like I said above the better option would be for either esk02k to inject his files in to our InsertCoin framework folder files or for him to allow us to have access to his files that have to be injected in to our framework folder files.

nite nite.

Jan Itor,

Here is a Glass and Chrome Theme for InsertCoin v51CM7/ CM7r2 HBOOT variety, If you use the A2SD version of InsertCoin then you will have to use 7-ZIP to open the file and then navigate in to META-INF\com\google\android\ and either edit the "updater-script" or use one from one of your flashable.zips that works with A2SD to send the app and framework folder files in to the correct places on your A2SD ROM.

So this flashable.zip is using the InsertCoin v51 system files: com.htc.resourses.apk, framework-res.apk & SystemUI.apk (that have previously also been flashed with the Chrome stuff and icon pack from uot so it should work for you also).

Do a Nandroid back up before trying to flash it just in case!!

What you should get after flashing:
1) Chrome lock ring and Chrome lock screen icon backgrounds.
2) Smooth Circle Battery Indicator
3) Colour Icon Pack (v8 from uot if I remember correctly).
4) Standard button and overscrolling highlights are in GREEN colours for GB (not esk02k BLUE...that's his Trade Mark).
5) Glassed Widget main panels which affects HTCFacebook, HTCNews, maybe some other HTC widgets that use the standard panels.
6) Esk02k Glassed Google search box.
7) Esk02k Camera and Video Cam Icons
8) Esk02k Glassed Music Widget

What you don't get:
1) NOT the clock panel Glassed though...as this is hidden somewhere in M10 file still to be Glassed).
2) NOT Glassed Contacts, again hidden in some M10 file yet to be discovered.
3) Top Status bar is still in original Black and NOT Glassed.

CM7 / CM7r2 HBOOT Glass and Chrome for InsertCoin

Please hit the Thanx Button if you use it.....

I will add these glassed images to the Glass and Chrome theme for IC v51 and this might get the clock back panel and the Contacts panel glassed.....

Dear esk02k,

THANKS FOR THIS GREAT THEME..:) I really love it...:)

But, I found an issue in your new theme.. It's not big but it sometimes really bugging me.. So, when I am in one application and press search, the color of the field where we have to put search word, is black and it should be white.. Since the letters are also black, I can't see what I am typing.. In the attachment there are the screenshot with that black field and there is a screenshot of how that field should look - white..

Can you fix it or at least tell of what file and how should I change to make that field white again..:)

THANKS AGAIN FOR THIS GREAT THEME..:) And thanks in advance for solving this issue to me..:)

    No longer supported.

This is something im working on, its based on my last theme esk0dr0id 1.7
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=813946
(go here for changelog and features)

I wanted a fully transparent glass theme and couldn't find one so a few
Photoshop tutorials later this is what ive come up with.

Im using it on LeeDrOiD V2.3 but its said to work with most LeeDrOiD(Desire) roms.
Its also reported to work with :
    -AuraxTSense 8.3
    -Starburst
    -LeeDrOiD 2.3d
    -LeeDrOiD 2.4
    -Alex-V 2.3
Its based on 2.29 framework. If your rom is too, its likely to work.
If youre rom is not mentioned then it has not been tested.
Please do not ask if it will work on your rom/phone because I do not know.

Things turned to glass so far :
    -HTC Clock
    -Android widgets (music, power control)
    -HTC settings widgets
    -Lockscreen
    -Facebook
    -Youtube
    -Rosie
    -Notification bar
    -Google search bars
    -HTC Widgets
    -Android Market (Thanks Pendo)

    Enjoy!
and nandroid incase you dont like it.

If you redistribute or use my work in your own theme give credit. Other than that feel free to do what you want with it.

When removing something from the homescreen you will see two
holes etched out for the left and right rosie, This was the only way
i could achieve the glass effect.
    example :
    706red.png

    Installation :

If not installing on a full wipe, jump to step 3.

    1) Install ROM
    2) Boot into android (at least once to build caches etc...)
    3) Reboot into recovery (clockwork mod)
*OPTIONAL*4) Wipe Dalvik cache (Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache) ROMs with Data2SD script should NOT wipe the dalvik cache, because it will break the script itself and damage the ROM.
(I flash this over leedroid 2.3d without wiping the cache but with other roms you may have to)
    5) Install zip from sdcard (choose zip from sdcard > *theme name*)
    6) Reboot system now
    7) Wait.....

    Enjoy the eye candy!

updating (Dont wipe dalvik cache) :

    1) Reboot into recovery (clockwork mod)
    2) Install zip from sdcard (choose zip from sdcard > *theme name*)
    3) Reboot system now
    Done.

Problem installing? Turn off signature verification first.
Theme wont flash with clockwork mod 3.0 onwards because
    of new update script.

    esk0dr0id swype skin

cool love that colour. Linkie pleaseeeee.

Check out my new skins at : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1001821

glad you like it. it looks icy cold.

heres the files, only portrait done so far because i dont use
it in landscape but i plan to do it.

how i got it working :

    1) with root explorer copy and paste swype from here :

system\sd\app\com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk (thats where it is for me)

to the root of your sd card

    2) put it on your pc then open up with 7zip, inject my files into :

    com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk\assets\keyboards\

then press back a few times and it will update the archive

    3) put it into the blank flashable zip im gonna give you, in system\app

    4) place in root of sd card and flash with clockwork recovery or
    AmonRa.

you could also pull and push the file with adb but i havent done
it so i cant explain how.

im using it on swype 2.15.56.14870 but as long as you have one
of the more recent swypes with the microphone it should be fine.

    Enjoy.

    Reseting battery stats

Heres how i do it :

1: Charge phone whilst on till LED is green.
2: Disconnect phone from charger, power it off.
3: Reconnect to charger with phone powered off and allow to charge till LED is green.
4: Disconnect the phone from charger, power it on. Once completely powered on, turn it off again and reconnect to charger until LED is green.
5: Reboot into recovery (back button held at same time as power button) and wipe battery stats.
