i have no offence for you editing the theme and using it for yourself.
bt i dont entertain sharing the edited theme here in xda or anywhere else without giving the sole credits to the original creator...

download the theme zip file,open it using some arhive viewer and find com.whatsapp .
copy it somewhere and rename to com.whatsapp.zip and open it and find drawable-nodpi folder under res folder,delete it and repack everything and done

the theme is just beautiful and perfect, thank you so much!! one issue tho, I can't change lockscreen wallpaper, whatever I do, it stays the same. Is there a way?

well, I don't know what happened, but I tried to install your theme with stock WhatsApp emojis, was not able to apply it, got back to stock and now I can't change theme to any other than stock... I'm pretty shure it's not connected to your theme, it's just Huawei Theme app got messed up somehow after my manipulations...

try changing lockscreen wallpaper from gallery or else from themes app

Tried everything, no use. The only way to change is to add wallpaper to lockscreen magazine and set it manualy with control buttons on lockscreen. But anyway I can't change my theme, only stock one is available. New themes could not be applied.

Had this Problem too, this happens if you changed something in the Build.prop maybe the hide navbar mod, you need the original unmodified Build.prop or you will stuck at standard design and cant change to other designs.
In some cases you even cant change ringtones or notification tones.

You can made your changes on Build.prop back, if you know your changes, or you have to do a factory reset

great to know, but @egotheist has not mentioned about any changes to his build.prop, if that is the case then i think his problem is solved

Unfortunatly that is not the case. I haven't modified build.prop, only installed new theme. But anyway factory reset seems to be a solution. Or maybe I'll try to restore TWRP backup made before theme installation. Make backup of Theme app with Titanium and restore it on my current system. Not sure it'll work though.
