To change the colors create the file spare_parts_ui.xml
Insert the following
Code:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' standalone='yes' ?>
<spareparts>
	<battery_status_color_title>#ffffffff</battery_status_color_title>
	<clock_color>#fff2f2f2</clock_color>
	<date_color>#ffefefef</date_color>
	<plmn_label_color>#ffffffff</plmn_label_color>
	<spn_label_color>#ffffffff</spn_label_color>
	<new_notifications_ticker_color>#fff2f2f2</new_notifications_ticker_color>
	<notifications_count_color>#ffffffff</notifications_count_color>
	<no_notifications_color>#ffffffff</no_notifications_color>
	<clear_button_label_color>#ff000000</clear_button_label_color>
	<ongoing_notifications_color>#ffffffff</ongoing_notifications_color>
	<latest_notifications_color>#ffffffff</latest_notifications_color>
	<notifications_title_color>#ff000000</notifications_title_color>
	<notifications_text_color>#ff000000</notifications_text_color>
	<notifications_time_color>#ff000000</notifications_time_color>
</spareparts>

Save the file to your SD card root folder.
Now you are able to import the settings in Spare Parts.

AFAIK you have to reboot to see the changes.

HDPI version for the Droid, etc. in the works? I love how clean this looks.

Unfortunately I dont have an HDPI device to test it on and my roomate refuses to root his Nexus one haha. If there is enough interest I could create it and have testers but it would be really weird not being able to test it myself.

Is there a way to include this as part of the ROM as the default?

Looks like this is going to be my new theme! Only thing I don't like on the screenshots is the white background in the notifications drawer, I think something more transparant would be better..

I may take a look at that white semi transparent background thats in the origional cyanogen rom but I wont go with black transparent. It just doesnt look good with the white boxes in front.

Yeah and the real deal is probably better than screenshots, gonna wait till you release a theme only-zip though, don't wanna go back to t3.

As soon as the stable version is released I will update the theme/rom. Ill still release it as a full ROM because it includes 3d gallery and launcher pro. No reason to have 2 gallery's and 2 launchers especially when you cannot uninstall either. If you want you would be able to flash it right over top of cm5.0.8 stable but like I said, you would have 2 launchers and 2 gallerys :)

Hmm that's too bad, and to be honest I don't really see the point? Gallery3D can be very easily installed (and even being switched on the go: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/62-gallery3d2ddual-switcher-50x-ds-06072010/), and if you install LauncherPro through the Market, you get immediate updates, instead of having to reflash a new rom. But hey, it's your call of course :)

Well yes gallery can easily be installed BUT you will have both versions. Same with Launcher pro. Most people using a G1 need all the space they can get. IDK I just figured that was best but I have a mytouch so I guess space is not a huge deal. You can also update launcher pro from this ROM but you will lose the dark theme. All of this stuff is of course easily done with a little know how but most people DONT know how,haha. Thats the problem. Like I said, its still totally flashable over your current ROM. With a little knowhow you can also get rid of 2D gallery as well.

This is a real noob question but what are the requirements for this aside from the phone being rooted? Yes I'm sure its a stupid question but any clarification would be appreciated.

Same requirements as flashing any cyanogen ROM. You dont NEED to flash partition your SD card unless you want swap or Apps2sd. You can flash this just like any other ROM or you can flash this over your current cyanogen 5.0.8 ROM.
