With system apps, do you have to uninstall default app first with root explorer ?

Turns out I was going about these the wrong way. For some apps its easier to look in the xmls and insert android:background="@android:color/transparent" where applicable instead of doing image editing.

Anyway here's facebook. Uninstall your current version. You may need to remove it with root manager + reboot.

Can you make a google regular search box without mic and a quicksearch box with the mic in a 50% opacity , I tried on my own but the app keeps becoming unstable or disapears on reboot or if anyone knows where i can download a black one or just somethin lol I would appreciate any help thank you for reading this

I did a metamorph here for Sense roms. If you don't have one you have to manually update your framework-res.apk and com.htc.resources.apk using the images in the zip file.
