Well the png files are where they should be, so the clock ought to show up. Odd.

You don't happen to be running aHome or Open Home or dxTop or any other Home Screen app that is overriding the theme?

Yes, a choice of leather backgrounds would be nice -- especially a lighter colored one. Please post what you find. I will do the same.

After having this on my phone for a couple of days, I find that they notification icons in the bar at the top are all very small. I wonder if the bar could be widened slightly and the icons made a bit bigger?

Hey, just installed this to my jf1.43 RC9 german g1 and the upper notification bar works fine..

but the clock/search widget and the dropup/down menu seem unchanged :-/

the Dialer registers "Dialer" "Calls" "Contacts" ... are also in leather but the numbers aren't.

Anyone with an RC9 version (not sure if a UK RC9 is needed or not, any RC9 will most likely do) who's willing to beta test this theme for me, please drop me a PM and let me know. Would make it a lot easier to find what's wrong and why the clock and dialer etc is not being themed as they're supposed to. It's good if you know how to restore a "bricked" phone, because that might actually happen during testing.

The "Glossy Minimalism" theme works OK now-maybe you could make the same changes for this theme(and do a version of the "Rusty Metal").

Currently my favorite theme. I'm wondering if you intend to add icons to it, or just port the icons from Rusty Metal over.

I currently have no plans to add icons to it. Now, with BetterCut available, I feel it's better to leave the icons default and let people fix the icons for themselves, to their taste. I guess I could add the icon pack separately, in a zip file of their own, but I will most likely not integrate them into the theme.

I've been putting off BetterCut because AnyCut served my needs up to this point. I'll see if I end up buying it.

Ok I need some help. I had the leather theme installed on my rooted rc33 g1 just fine, this is with a normal formatted 4gig sd card. I just recently partitioned my sd card followed all the steps to where its working fine but for some reason I cannot reinstall the leather theme with the sd card partitioned. I cant get past reboot screen. PLEASE HELP! atleast provide the updated JFv to do so!

Hey all.

Given the difficulties in creating themes for the new RC33/ADP1.1h releases I figured I would take a proper stab at it, starting from scratch. My previous attempts were nothing but sloppy ports of the Rusty Metal theme, from ADP1.1/RC30 to RC33, and everyone who's been following the Rusty Metal theme knows that it did not work as intended.

So, here we are, starting from scratch (on an ADP1.1h image). Initially I was gonna remake the Rusty Metal theme, from scratch, but to be honest I'm sick of that theme, so now I'm creating a new one called Leather. Oh, and don't worry; not the Blue Oyster Bar kind of leather, but rather old book cover stitched leather meets Texas ranch leather. Add some cherry wood to the mix too and we've got a theme.

As usual, you try this theme our at your own risk. I have installed and reinstalled it on my ADP1.1h phone at lest a dozen times tonight, with no issues, but that does not guarantee anything. If you do try it out, remember to backup first!
