The only option I know of would be to remove the theming of the icons all together. Would you be interested in that?
I personally think it'd be a great option. Even the stock Samsung Apps seem to have much nicer icons than they had in the past and the smaller icons look a bit weird in a 1440p screen. Can't speak for everyone but I definitely think it'd be a good idea.

Most of the Samsung apps can be replaced by Google variants anyway if someone really wanted a purist look and removing the theming would look better for full icons.

Thanks for taking an interest in perfecting this. I greatly appreciate what you've done thus far.

So before flashing your theme we need to have the urban theme applied and running or do we just need to have it installed???

Is it an all or nothing? What about just having the google apps themed?

Give me a day or two and I'll make a no-icon version for you guys that run the stock launcher :good:

Hello,

I installed the theme exactly as described in the instructions.
The theme however doesn't work perfectly. Only the wallpaper on the home screen hasn't changed to the material design wallpaper and remains to show the urban wallpaper.
I think the icons are smaller than shown on the preview photo's what indicates that the urban theme is still showing.
I've added some pictures.

Thanks in advance!

Worked fine for me first time :)
Looking forward to some way to get round the small-icons

edit: just rename the folder data/app/br.org.sidi.urban.appicon
to something else (br.org.sidi.urban.appicon-backup for example)
and restart, then you have original icons at normal size, but touchwiz icons will return.

I have a small issue where the brightness slider is the stock urban color when auto brightness is checked. It is the correct lollipop color when unchecked.

Do we just flash this new one, or do we need to completely uninstall theme and start again? Also, thank you so much for this, you've breathed new life into our phones!
You can flash right on top of the previous one :good:

I'm glad this worked for you, but I would not recommend doing so as it cause sometimes cause the theme to break. The proper way is to edit the theme's .json file and then remove the folder, which I will be providing with the optional no-icon patch.

I believe this happens with all of the themes, the auto-brightness slider colors are built into the framework and not themeable. For some reason they decided to only allow the themes to change the manual brightness slider colors.

Wow, that is super annoying lol. Why would they even do that? Here's to hoping someone discovers a way ?
