I tried V20d yesterday, it seems that AOSP icons are not present on all status bar items. Only the wifi icon is AOSP. 6 toggles do work however.

Icons on V20d update are not all AOSP skinned. Only wifi is AOSP, while others are still LG's. I flashed clean using V20d KDZ attached to first post.

@jskasia and anyone else who wants a really better phone, I have managed to obtain a really great match of performance, temperature and battery life through a few build.prop tweaks and thermal modifications. I have attached my build.prop, thermal-engine-8992.conf and init.qcom.post_boot.sh (credits for this one goes to @warBeard_actual) for your reference, if you'd wish to have a look.

My added/modified build.prop tweaks start after the following line:

#ro.telephony.default_network=10

The phone now has quite consistent, smooth performance, and it magically doesn't heat much, while, say, gaming (the change is really huge, it cannot be ignored).

I have also attached my camera configuration files, which add 60fps FullHD recording without removing Slow Motion mode.

No, that's not CTT I have attached. I modded the file myself. All custom. I have raised all four thresholds for the GPU, which maintains a consistent and smooth performance everywhere.

And about the build.prop tweaks, there aren't many; have a look below:

ENFORCE_PROCESS_LIMIT=false
hw3d.force=1
hw2d.force=1
debug.gr.numframebuffers=3
ro.min_pointer_dur=1
debug.sf.hw=1
debug.egl.hw=1
debug.composition.type=mdp
persist.sys.composition.type=mdp

The above tweaks make a really great combination with the other two files. Like, at first, I couldn't believe it myself how the amount of heat had reduced!

This composition type is completely different, as it appears to me, from both sole GPU its default C2D, that's how it reduces the amount of heat and maintains the overall performance at a great and stable level.

Oh, and, I forgot to mention that I have added those tweaks to a stock image of v20h.

That's interesting. But, isn't is better if you and @jskasia just collaborate on H818P ROMs? Let's say unified mods? Your team up is really great so far. And I really appreciate both your work and effort for the H818P community. :good::good::good:

For the V20H, my idea is release a version w/o genisys theme, but with all other mods and tweaks that can be applied, but in this thread, if possible. I think @jskasia has issues with genisys on v20H.

Firstly, you have contributed the mod yourself by the mean of cpu thermal mod, so you should create the thread for that, and I am more than happy to add your mod into the rom or you can maintain another version if you would like to.

Secondly, to make it clear, I would like to summarise that your own mod are:
- CPU thermal
- build.prop (the great combination with thermal mod)

The existing mod that confirmed to be positive for your system are:
- init.qcom.post_boot.sh (is this the same mod as appeared on the first post ?)

And the mod you didn't mention (Please clarify this) if it's your or not is:
- Camera configuration files


In fact, I am actually using the v20h with the mod just similar to your work on the stock appearance too. Nevertheless, most of the mods are picked from the existing like CTT, init.qcom.post_boot.sh, build.prop. These are the same as one in the first post. I am also trying to add some features by modifying and recompiling the LGSystemUI to add some functions such as Miniview (the feature I love) as well, but no success yet. If others who are reading this post have some clues, please give me a hand. Thanks in advance.

@ashkan-khatar, our community is still lack of the diversity on the instant mod (system.img), so please feel free to share your work. I am willing to help on this, just let me know what you need.

The bluetooth will stop working.
And you will need to do a factory reset after flashing or many apps will keep "forced close".

Flased on 20h, nothing worked properly even after hard reset SD card failed to detect. Back to 20e.. Can Dolby Atoms and Viper4android added in this mod.. I know its not rooted just asking out of curiosity.. Also looking for information to add VoLTE

That's right, I forgot about the SD card. The V4A will require the root access, but Dolby Atom possibly supports. I planned to try this soon.

In Thailand, the operator did not support many models. I tried on v10e HK whick works for people in India, but no luck in Thailand. Therefore, there is no plan on volte.
