What will happen if I flash the latest update on my H818P that does not have the bootloop issue?

ı flashed your tot file to my bootlooped h815 by changıng model name on wınhex ... and phone booted !! so ı thınk ıf ı can use your method for the h815 tot fıle ıt can work

if you could make for all g4 models i will happy to pay you for that

I think you can download the TOT associated to your model (815) here and edit it with WinHex.
You will need to find this text in the TOT file => "/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu4/online" and "/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu5/online"

then you have to change for example from "echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu4/online" to ==> "echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu4/online"

Note: please make sure you have changed every lines appeared on the TOT file, as I can remember
there are more than 2 lines related to enabling the cpu cores.

@jskasia but you can do an update for v20d, just to v20e battery consumption is very high, do not match the frequency of the operators.

Rom 20e very fast and smooth, ram very high 1.5GB free. But it too hot and 2 core not always diable.
When i play video on web, it 55" C !
I think it maybe have some problem.
I try this rom and testing...

I took the file from SezerSimsek for 815 and yes, it shows cpu 6 and to get more confused cpu 7 (?)
If we choose the cpu 6 it shows after :
#enable thermal core control now followed by #bring all core online (have echo 1 in cpu 1 to 7)
# ensure at most one cora A57 is online when thermal hotplug is disabled (have Echo 0 in cpu5, cpu 6 and cpu 7)

There are many "bring all cores online" that goes from 1 to 4 and less that shows 1 to 6, so I guess the ones should be 5 and 6

Please note:
The Different roms have different modification. The rom in this thread used post-boot script from here

You might use based-script from the KDZ or the modified one to compare which parts need to be changed.

OK, lets hope #floast really confirm it can solve bootloop issue or at least someone with 818P. I dowloaded the TOT file from this thread also shows cpu1 to cpu7 and shows echo 1 so the fix is not in that part, so I guess change another TOT won't work.

Howto fix 2 big core

1. Unzip the downloaded file G4
2. Install file: LGUP_Store_Frame_Ver_1_14_3.msi
3. Install File :: LGUP_8994_DLL_Ver_0_0_3_23.msi
4. Put the phone in download mode mode
Keep vol + and telephone connection cable plug vs computer. If you do this first, it will install the driver, wait one moment. Finish this step you will enter the download mode.
5. Run the program: "LGUP" from the Desktop
6. Click on "Upgrade"
7. Select the "Bin File"
8. Press the button three dots ...: "File Path"
9. Navigate to the folder: "G4 series Big disable core MSM File_v3.0 tool" unzipped
10. Open the folder right with your code that LG phone support
11. Select the file in that directory
12. Press the "Start"
Done waiting for results One core working only.

IF YOU ARE 5.1 AND ROOTED ROM, CAN ENABLE 4CORE FIX
1. Download the "LG G4 4CORE FIX" app:

4. Grant root access to the app
5. In case you do not have BusyBox installed, the app will ask you to do so

I figured it our now there is more than one file in the system refer to cpux,
you will need to find text "come bitching",
then search for cpu4 from that point forward. Press f3 to find next.

Repeat step for cpu 5, you can get all modified rom, with dual-core disabled.
