You must do it clearly !
1. Flash kdz file. Reboot.
2. Flash tot file. Reboot.
3. Factory reset in Setting/Backup & Reset.
If not enable 3 core. Unfortunately, your G4 not original.
I have 2 LG G4, make the same Rom but the old G4 serial 506 can enable 3 core !

Amm what do you mean by it's not original?
Everything else is working on this phone. How can I know it's original or not?

Few Questions !

Recently I'm having few reboots everyday.. While playing games or browsing facebook or listening music sometimes my lg g4 freezes and shuts down and reboots. This varies sometimes twice, thrice and sometimes it doesnot occur whole day. As soon as my lg g4 freezes, I take out the battery and let it cool for 1 minute. When I restart the device it works again. Is my device suffering from bootloop issue ?

My other questions are

1 Can I flash above v20e bootloop fix even though my device is working ?
2 Can I downgrade and follow the above steps for flashing from v20h to v20e . My device says antilroll back 0.
3 What is antuntu score after disabling big dual core ?
4 Is this the permanent fix ?
5 Can I revert back to 20h and enable all 6 cores by flashing 20h firmware or once dual core is disabled it's no way t enable ?

I flashed 20 e kdz, using refurbish option then i flahed tot using upgrade option but my bootloop not fixed totally for normal use. Only 1 core is working and i'm unable to start rest 3 cores bcs all kernel apps require root. Am i doing something wrong or it really does not work at all?
My model is H818P currently at lollipop a it got stuck in bootloop and then i found ilapo fix. I'm on 10l (rooted) using v8 fix by ILAPO.

You meant you tried v20e bootloop fix and it didn't work.
Then you installed v10l + ILAPO v.8, and it worked only 1 core, did you ?

If yes, you should try to flash stock kdz of v20e, then ILAPO v8 (marshmallow) right after to revive the phone.
Finally, patch it with v20e (TOT) to boot up the rest 3 cores.

Please report if it works or not.

Frequent reboot, you should try to change the new battery and see if the problem is solved or not.

Q1: yes
Q2: yes
Q3: no more than 50k
Q4: it depends on how you define 'permanent'.
For example someone might say using 4 cores without bootloop is the fix, then yes. However, others say the fix meant full function, then the answer is no.
Q5: yes, you can.

@jskasia: smart unlock not work on this rom. I really need this function when I'm in car with SYNC. It mean: when I'm in car, my phone connect with Sync system (audio) by Bluetooth. My phone auto active smart device function and I don't need passcode to unlock my phone.

I tested with face detection and trusted device, the phone unlocked smoothly with smart unlock.

Mainly the navigation bar which when use with Nova Launcher, the system will look alike Google Pixel launcher.

Thanks for the report.

You can flash 20h or other kdz on your need with 'UPGRADE' to preserve your data and apps. This will result your phone back to stock but not lose data.

The 'REFURBISH' is need when you want to clean install or faced problems. This option will simply ease all your data and apps.

For example, as my rom removed lg update center, if I need to install lg apps like quick memo+ or remote, I simply install the stock KDZ, download memo+ and flash the modified TOT. By doing so I always select 'UPGRADE'.

Some cases, such as, when the Bluetooth stop working, even if you flashed the right KDZ. You will need to select 'REFURBISH'.

@safderm if any time you need to take your phone to the service center. You simply flash the stock KDZ using 'UPGRADE'.

H815p bootloop - Enable 4 little cores.

I've got a H815p with bootloop with the ILAPO fix, upgraded to MM and used the MM ILAPO fix which only enables 1 CPU core. I activated the other 3 cores by editing the init.qcom.post-boot.sh file.

Basically mount the system.img (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69435441&postcount=112)
edit system/etc/init.qcom.post_boot.sh and append:

Basically I followed op post :
I think download link for bootloop fix .tot file is removed by op . Pls ask him for the link

1 First download and install the drivers and software from the link below.


Install all required LGG4 drivers http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G4/LGUnitedMobile_Win_Driver_Ver_3.14.1.exe

and tot file : Ask OP for bootloop fix .tot file 20e ( I think he has removed download link)

3 Open LGUP flash the KDZ with the 'Refurbish' option
4 Then re-flash again using the TOT file with the 'Upgrade' option

That's all ! Remember You should have LG G4 model number H818p to work . No need to follow ILAPO method which requires $25 to enable all four cores
