hi, I saw that the prerequisites to install the rom requires the LG root file, is this rom rooted ? Or is marshmallow still impossible to root?

no need for root. just flash the kdz and tot (v20e)

I manage to flash this on my non rooted h818p. Beautiful! Thank you OP for this wonderful rom. No issue so far just pure amazement. Thank you.

you would loose that update section in the setting

I cant find the update in the settings after flashing (v20e tot). Im not sure if it's the same with the v20h. As far as I can remember I believe in that one I found an update section.

This is a modified rom. I think you wont be able to update it via ota after you flash this. But I could be wrong.

I removed lg updater from the rom to minimize the battery drain.

If you need some lg apps please flash stock tot in order to install apps you wanted
or update some lg apps. Then you can reflash the modified tot to enjoy the rom.
The installed lg apps will not be remove by installing the tot as long as you choose 'UPGRADE' not 'REFURBISH'.

Sir thank you so much with this rom. Prior to installing this I usually get 4hrs of sot on a stock marshmallow os which is not bad. Then after installing your rom, now I get 6.5hrs of sot on my phone.

And the most amazing part is it barely drops when not in use. Merely 1% drop after overnight sleep. I tested this both from full charge and half empty battery. Same result. Sometimes it even stays @ 100% and wont drop a charge overnight.

I wish I could post my sreenshots here. But I am a newbie to xda and have no idea how to. Cant find an option on how to do it yet.

Just flash the kdz file through LGUP choose refurbish. Make sure you back it up first on your sd card bcoz you would loose all your data in your internal memomy after doing it. Hope that helps.
