Finally I found one that promise to work on stock odex rom :D

Hi @Zyr3
After applying this, do I still have the translucent status bar like the one on stock 4.3 rom? And does this works with the 'tinted status bar' exposed module?

Hi! Status bar should not change. I believe the translucent status bar is defined in Touchwiz and not in SystemUI so it should not change. :)

Thanks a lot! Will try this once I get home and let you know :fingers-crossed:

Just in case I get the steps wrongly, please correct me...
1) so first, I go to system/app and delete the SystemUI.apk
2) copy the modded apk, locate it at system/app and rename as SystemUI.apk
3) change permission
4) delete SystemUI.odex
5) reboot
Is this correct?

I want to change the recent apps background from blue to stock S5 turquoise. I know there are SystemUI mods out there with the turquoise background, but they don't look as nice as the current SystemUI I have got. My only problem is the blue background. Screenshot below to show people what I am talking about.

I extracted the "tw_recent_app_bg.9.png" file from S5 SystemUI and placed it in the S3 SystemUI and modified the status_bar_recent_item.xml in the layouts folder. Try it out. Hope this helps!

" ...P.S: The Quick Connect button doesn't work. We still need to have a working S3 port of Quick Connect."

Are there any news for this?

Thank you.

Thank you.
Working on an update little by little. Too busy at work right now. Sadly I can only concentrate on porting smali code from S5 SystemUI every other weekend. Hopefully soon.

Thanks mate. Do you know what PNG is responsible for the albums button in the screenshot below? I have modded my framework, but the albums button on my stock gallery app has stayed blue. I have decompiled gallery, but there is no obvious PNG responsible for that button?

Could you make please for 4.4.2 KK roms? The S5 Themes on 4.4.2 I found here are only for Archiports Rom :/

And Please make it in an Aroma Installiert :)

Try looking in framework-res.apk or twframework-res.apk
