Attention XDA, this is a themed version of the actual HtcClockWidget.apk, this is NOT FancyWidget. Thank you for your attention.
Introducing, my first mod release for Droid Incredible.

Attention Users: This widget will only work on HTC Sense handsets with Android 2.2 and the Sense Framework.
If you like my work, feel free to donate, Mtn Dew is my source of fuel lol ;)

This will not work on:
Custom ROM's (working on fixing that)
Deodexed ROM's

It has been tested on:
Droid Incredible ONLY, and works with Android 2.2 Deodexed ROM's

The HTC clock is a very popular widget amongst Android and Windows Mobile enthusiasts. I have taken the time to make a few custom clocks for your consumption based on the requests i've received over the past few months.

The colors are :

Acid Green
Energy Blue
EVO Purple
Incredible Red
Incredible Metal Red (*New*)
CC Red tribute (*New*)
Casmira Transparent (Coming Soon!)
360S Grey/Green

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Do you take requests?
A: Yes but I can't respond to everyone's individual request but if i receive enough for any certain color, i will work on making it available.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: You cannot install more than one color at a time!

Enjoy!

UPDATE: 10/14/10
I have finished a Deodexed version of the widget and have found it to work on Virtuous ROM. Be sure to not manually install as an .apk, use Recovery and install via .zip. Please report which ROM's work and which do not. Once I get this whole ROM issue straightened out, i will release more colors, fonts, themes etc for the clock. I appreciate everyones support and patience as i do not have any beta testers or coding experts other than TouchPro247 to help me.

Download below

Choose NCX Acid GREEN v2 Deodexed.zip or NCX Incredible Red v2 Deodexed.zip
One notable thing i've found is, it supports the new Desire HD flip clock and actually flips! Congrats to me :)

Edit: 10/15/10
After some consideration and not being satisfied with the LCD look, i have implemented a poll asking YOU if you prefer it to have the LCD look or not. Personally i wanted it to look like an LCD to give it that alarm clock look, but it seems like its harder to read when you want to quickly check the time (which i do alot when i'm at work since i don't have a watch) Please let me know your thoughts, i plan on bringing more designs and fonts/colors soon-ish!

Edit: 10/21/10
While my original post has gone to crap with all the revisions, and additions, i hope to have it all cleaned up shortly after i post the new colors and updates to the originals. due to XDA's limit of 8 uploads per post and i wasn't fast enough to reserve a few posts in this thread for that, i will either have to create a new thread or just make a zip of all the colors update.zip files into one theme collection for all colors in that theme.

I have also revised the LCD version making it much easier to see quickly, the LCD look i referred to in my poll was the outline under the numbers to give it that real LCD look.

Updates coming shortly, blue has already been posted

edit: future warning, it does not work with incdoes sense
it not only removes htclockwidget.apk form your widget library it also messes with rosie and makes it flicker

Doesn't work on uncommon sense either. It just removes the clock from my homescreen, puts a "0.0dip" widget in the list, if i try to select that i get a FC from rosie...

I also tried this on Virtuous rom, same thing.

Wow, i can't believe theres so many issues. and yes, I'm using stock 2.2 for the widget since i assumed the majority would have atleast stock 2.2. Themeing for a Sense Widget universally doesn't quite work unless its a non-framework widget not tied into the UI like Sense. Fancy Widget worked because it was coded as a seperate widget that didn't require a framework to work, one of the reasons HTC banned it since it could be used on non HTC phones

I'm really sorry that it won't work on non-stock rom's, if it weren't for that Fancy Widget ban, I would still be making skins for those.

If any developer on here is willing to help me out to make it a more universal Sense widget, i would be happy to do so.

just a heads up, HTC must've did something with there new code in Sense HD because the clockwidget cannot be modified in the same manner, each attempt always gets a corrupt widget, But, if you download my 360S skin for the new Sense you can see my attempt to bring the acid clock to the new sense using the new skins.

as for trying to get it to work on a non-rooted phone, i don't know for sure if that would work, but the method to get it to the proper location would be to use ADB and push it to the system/app while in recovery.

Again, i'm really sorry everyone that its not working for you, I just wanted to bring my designing ideas and themes to android, just another epic fail i guess :(

Def isn't an epicfail at all, the clocks look awesome, and they do work, just not for everything. It's just a matter of finding out what that little problem is and fixing it. You were able to do this, which is more than what probably 95% of the members on here can do (including me), don't let it get you down man.

i ABSOLUTELY love these clocks. Wish I could get it to work with Redemptive rEVOlution 1.7 would be perfect

Have you tried this on Redemptive 1.7? Or are you assuming it wont work?
I would really love this clock. Dont know if it will work with the Evo framework though.

based on my research, the .apk isn't signed, just edited from an official build. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not. the .apk when i edited it i didn't extract and resign, i edited it using 7zip without extracting. This also means it uses the Dalvik cache, so don't wipe when you install the .zip update, and see if it works after that.

It may not work on deodexed roms either

when i did sign the .apk, it would never re-install (so to speak) so when i found this alternative method and it worked i got really excited since this meant i could theme the framework finally starting with the widget.

i'll try a few things to experiment with multiple roms available on ROM manager to see which ones would work using different methods and which ones won't, majority wins of course.

I'll update when i get somewhere, Thanks for everyones support
