Now I'm not a themer so I wouldn't know... but couldn't you theme the espresso mod bottom bar so that the page indicator is level? Just throwing an idea out there.
I have actually tried that, and it doesn't work with some newer versions of Froyo, for example, I'm running Virtuous for all my mods, and it just has an infinite boot loop after restarting.
What I really need out of the Espresso mod is the XML that tells the scroller to go horizontal instead of rounding the edge of Rosie, when i first started to mod Rosie, i had a few theories and each one proved wrong, one notable one was that the scroller seeked out the edge of the navbar graphic under Rosie, and glided the edge of it, but it seems to have proved wrong.
I'm getting deeper and deeper into theme development of Sense to the point its gotten more difficult, and to which i may shift my skinning to DesireHD/Z sense.
I had tried theming the dialer without any success beyond the buttons, except that you couldn't tell if they were pressed or resting. I wanted to bring the acid dialer i made for windows mobile late last year to the Incredible, but that too has proven unsuccessful.
I don't know if its the ROM or what but i'm running into a brick wall very quickly and its turning me off to make a complete theme like i had wanted to do
