Did that. Didnt throw any errors but didnt apply any different graphics.
Which one did you try specifically? Usually, most roms will have the battery, WiFi and the upload/download graphics in the same folder, but there are 2 possibilities for the rest (3G, WiFi) so maybe that's the case. Shouldn't be hard to fix though, if you let me know which ones you want, I can make a metamorph file for them.

Isnt it funny, it was the 3G I tried first. I like both of the 3G icons. Going to have to see it in action to pick. So I guess just the 3G ones for now.

But, it would be nice to eventually have all of them.

Thanks. I know its a pain to try and cover all the roms.

There are only 2 types of extensions

Drawable-hdpi-v4
Or
Drawable-hdpi

If it doesn't work just navigate to you Android theme folder. And delete the -v4 at the end and do it again. It will work.

Just did all, but the battery, on RR2.2. Works great. I'd love to see that battery at half height like recommended earlier. If there is a way to turn the red on the icon into blue it would match the rest of the icons, too. Great work on these... I love this forum!

Thanks for your comment! I've tried a few new ideas on ways to do a nicer set of battery graphics. I haven't been able to come up with something that works though but I'm still searching. The problem is that once you reduce the image to it's final size of 38x38, it loses a lot of it's details. Text for example, for it to be readable at such a small size, means the font has to be rather big but a big font hides a lot of the graphic so it's hard to balance both.

I'd say scratch the fonts altogether on it... it's a meter, afterall. If you chuck the bottom half of it you will have room to double it's height. Change the needle to blue and bam, sexy. ;)

pardon my MS Paint pic... an idea, though...

If you can stretch the E and F further down the graphic, maybe slightly larger, I think that you will have the added space to pull this off. Obviously the blue would match what you have already.

That's a neat idea. I can chop the bottom half for sure but that doesn't give me double the height really because that would give me an egg-shaped meter and that might look weird, which is why I was considering doing a quarter dial where the "F" is up and the "E" is to the left for example. What would give me the top left corner free for a charging / near empty warning light.

Even better! If the needle pivots in a corner and has a full 90* worth of "swing" then it should be enough to know, at a glance, if you're at 50% full, etc. This would be one of the better mods on my phone. :D

Flip it around so that it pivots in the lower left corner... would give more space on the needle side by the clock for easier reading (so that it's not butted up against the next icon in).

Well I saw the background you use so yeah, a car themed battery meter would fit.
