REVOlution DHD Theme - for Sense ROM`s

Since we have Christmas tomorrow a little gift for you guys. I ported the very nice EVO Theme REVOlution from manup456 (so all credits to him) to DHD, tweaked a lot of details to my preference, rebranded it as DHD and added a few hacks incl. transparency in the status bar and 10% or 1% battery gauge indicator.

I just thought that the Revolution DHD theme is a natural fit to the best Sense ROM Revolution HD.

Theme contains framework, htcframework plus 15 themed apps, so Android widgets do now fit way better to the Sense Experience (I don`t like Eclair styled widgets mixed with transparent Sense).

1. What you need before the flash

Root, S-Off, DHD Sense ROM, Clockwork Mod and ROM Manager


Install:

* IMPORTANT - backup your system with Rom Manager
* Uninstall Facebook Update (1.5.4 will be pushed in system/app)
* LauncherPro Users - uninstall before you flash the theme (Plus User delete the launcher.apk from zip and theme LPro Plus via metamorph)
* Copy RevolutionDHD.zip to SD Card - IMPORTANT Stock ROM Users DELETE services.jar from RevolutionDHD.zip before you copy to SD, since the jar (responsible for the transparency) only works in deodexed Sense ROM`s like Revolution HD and would crash your ROM.
* If you prefer the 1% battery steps (theme default 10%) - you can flash the 1% update.zip after flashing the main theme
* Open Rom Manager and install from SD Card
* Choose RevolutionDHD.zip, then your DHD boots in Recovery and installs the theme, copies the Icon Pack and Wallpaper to your SD Card
* Choose your favorite Wallpaper from sdcard/wallpaper (4 Options), if you like customize your shortcuts with the icon pack

Icons can be best applied with Desktop Visualizer (if you use Rosie) or directly with LauncherPro.
* Make sure you choose HTC default skin, otherwise theme will not show up as designed
* Note: If there is a part you don`t want to install, just open the update.zip with winrar or 7zip BEFORE you flash, delete the apk and close the zip.


Known issues:

Just in case you have Weather FC`s after applying the theme, just do the following:

• Uncheck sound effects in weather app settings

In case the FC comes already after opening the weather app (which is rare) and you can`t access settings in weather app, just do the following:

• Go to applications, select manage, select all
• Look for weather provider and delete data
• IMPORTANT: kill your network connection (airplane mode)
• Open weather, this will now not be able to update as connection is off
• Apply settings, disable sound
• Restore network connection

Please read this, before you flash:

If it happens, that your right customize button in Rosie dock does not work after you flashed, then this is not a bad thing - no you are one of the lucky bastards with a Theme version, where I already ported the f... complicated remapping mod. This is what you need to do to enjoy that mod:

1. Download the free Launchkey Lite app from Market or download it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=818499

2. Open Launchkey and assign key either to an app or to a custom menu (then pressing the button opens a popup menu, where you can assign 9 shortcuts)

Finally a Skin, that themes also HTC widgets for GB 2.3.5 ROM, see screenshots. This Skin enables Revolution widgets (and large parts of the UI) and works both with stock and as add-on for Revolution Theme.

Please don`t ask, whether I can change the dock - the solution is limited, but at least my favorite widgets are back on ARHD.

Copy to SD and install like a market app, then choose Revolution Skin under personalize.

No need to wipe, just flash and enjoy. If you want 1% steps, you also need to flash the update. I prefer 10% since the 1% can make you obsessive, but everyone is different.

This is awesome mate but I'm already using the updated one in the sticky. However mind giving a how to on editing the phone dialer pad? I tried it 3 times and each time I get no network signal. And then the phone bit didn't work and wouldn't open. But thanks for the awesome theme

The notification bar stays stock but the put-down bar is transparent on LeeDroid Rom after I flashed and the sense dock stays stock too but everything else such as the loader works.
Is there a way to fix this?

Did you try to flash again, since it is very strange that noti bar and dock do not change? Even if I`m not using LeeDroid, but I doubt he changed the structure of htcresources

Why can't i find the navbar.png in your theme??? i just want to slightly mod it if u don't mind... just for personal use...


edit: found it.... it's the sc*****r....

Edit2: Great theme!!! Loving it! I think u forgot to edit four .png to be found in res/drawable-port-hdpi/ in the rosie.apk.... when deleting a widget on home screen u can see it
