[Theme] Rusty Metal [JFv1.4x - ADP1.1, RC30, RC33, ADP1.1h, RC8, RC9 - 03/17/09]

Due to a faulty hard drive I lost all my skins today. I do have a backup but it is about a week old, which means this theme is pretty much gone. I'll have to start over from scratch, if I ever feel up to it.

Lesson of the day, kids: Make sure to back up important stuff regularly or you're just as retarded as I am.

I'm crushed, this was one of the best looking skin's I've seen.

Pick this project back up again, and I'll have your babies.

The creator already made his choice up to not continue/ or restart this theme. One less thread to clutter up the board IMO.

I'll probably start over on this theme in a few days, I just need some time to mope If I don't get this theme done it'll irk me for months.

I did find a few of the theme files in my week old backup so I won't have to start from scratch, more like start from 10%.

So this is what I did: I cried a little, then I bulked up with three red bulls and some pretzels and spent the next ten hours recreating the theme. Great fun.

Current status:

The light brown area towards the top of the pic on the right is gonna change, doesn't look right, doesn't fit the theme. I'm just trying to figure out exactly where to change it. Also, the horizontal line crossing the center of the clock only shows up in the screenshot for some reason. Not on the phone itself.

App tab, not much to say. I'm happy with the rusty cog and I'll leave it at that. The dialer needs more work, the colors are a bit off and I'm not sure the texture is right either, but this is roughly where I'm going with the dialer. I also changed the look of the Google search widget and the logo, and I'm happy with how that turned out; no changes will be made.

Revamped the dial pad completely. Never liked the way it looked in the previous version of the theme.

Well, I might make two different dialers, one with the square buttons and the other with the antique typewriter key look.
