Did you also get the softboot when applying the framework-res.apk in Metamorph? Sucks to see you're hitting the same issue as well, but glad to see I'm not the only one who can't get this to play out as planned. =\

Yes, exact same results.

If you open the superuser app, does it have metamorph listed as allow?
Also a quick google search said if your system partition is full, it can cause metamorph to fail as well. since it is copying the framework-res file and pushing it back, it needs enough free space to do it.

Is anyone else having any issues?

Metamorph has SU permissions.
Storage is as follows:
sd 3.26gb free
phone 6.45gb free

I'm stumped. These APKs don't have carrier specific gibberish in them do they?

Anyone else try this or have another means of getting a black statusbar/white text within SkyRaider Athena?

You can get black statusbar with my theme (funkenblack). But there is no white text. I'm trying to figure that out now but its proving difficult. I've got white text to appear but as soon as you click on notification the text goes black permanently. But with SR 4 coming out soon ill probably leave the project as it is and focus my attention on SR.
