Hi shmykelsa,
Can you please tell me how can I change the position of second space to the left. The default of mine is on the right:

But I saw your example image shows that you can move it to the left like this:

Hi,

There's currently no option for it inside Extras For AA. The actual implementation of widescreen relies on the fact whether the car is right hand drive or left hand drive. The configuration is made by the car, and it tells Android Auto where is the steering wheel.

With that said, I could make an option for it.

Hi guys, i'm on android proton AOSP rom with a pixel 5 and android 11, used AA AIO tweaker to force the widescreen but i can't find a way to set icon to 0.5 and reduce size of widget. I tried to set second space 0.5 but androd auto not load and stay with black screen.

EDIT: i know about problem in theming but hope changing dimension is different

As stated in the OP, Extras For AA is not compatible with Android 11

Thanks for the update! Great work dev. .5 second screen working perfectly now.

Widescreen - Force bottom bar is a cool feature but doesn't seem to adhere to .5x navbar setting, only the icons scale.

As I mentioned elsewhere the keyboard gets cutoff in waze/maps with a second screen but no big deal.

I'm having issues changing anything related to the icons or navbar on one ui 3.0 samsung s20.
Using the latest app and AA 6.0.x
As soon as I enable the overlays the app bootloops on the car display and as soon as I disable them it works well again without replug the cable even.

Anyone else?
Probably a Samsung issue since the app is integrated into one ui.

How are you getting this to work on an S20, Thought root was needed?

Just wondering if theres any way to force the statusbar and clock on the second screen (layout1) instead of statusbar on the main screen (layout2). If I clear storage on android auto it works for a while, but some sequence (AA permissions setup or reboot?) seems to put it back to layout2.

Hi,

That's technically possible. It would require some work and the "Widescreen" options would be double the one they are now. I will make something out of it but it will probably not look good when Maps is there and it's not very high priority right now.

I just installed these themes, and am looking for how to set up what you have pictured in layout 1 (I really need the clock displayed better) What did you change to get to layout1 ?

It says in my post, I clear data on Android auto and I get layout 1 for a bit but then it goes away. I don't know how to keep it permanently which is why I asked OP if it could be included.

Great app for custom AA, but i have issue, keyboard didnt show up when enable "force vertical bar R or L" . Any fix for this issue?

After AA 6.4 update, applying a gradient to the status bar (gradient normal H / V bar) causes AA lock - black screen.

Everytime I'm apply any option, Android Auto connect and disconnect and the HU display is blinking.
Any ideas?

With the update to Android 6.4 if I apply the option to delete the bottom bar, android auto blocks me and displays the black screen, removing the option I review android auto working

Same here, everey option seems working properly (statusbar 0, navbar 0.75), except for the option to modify the navbar: Immersive, Madness etc... they don't work
