what about a minimal version? a completely flat keyboard in black? i.e. no buttons, just white letter and symbols on a black BG?

Oh nice! I've been looking for this. Love the icy liquorice, but as a request could the white become an ice blue? Would be totally pimp! And would fit in with both nrg and core ROMs

having same issue here as I did with my own.. after reboot it vanishes!
Anyone else experience this? Try rebooting your phone and see if swype stays there.

I rebooted many times in between metamorph my Swype and it has stayed. Did you go back into swype installer after morphing? It sometimes dissappears if you don't because the keyboard wasn't licensed properly.

Sounds like something I already had in mind. Let me know what color of blue tho. I'm about to start doing different styles and just copying them in a set amount of colors. Let me know what color/shade you want so I can start the series with your color of "Icy"

yeah, thats the kinda thing im looking for!! are you creating these skins from scratch or are you editing existing images?

I'm editing existing images right now. I have to create alot of parts from scratch also though. But things like the alphabet and symbols I just copy off the original cuz there's no reason for me to have to do all that unnecessary work, ya know? I'm coming up with a few that are completely original. That will be a glass series. Don't expect that one anytime soon. Gonna get your flat one up in the next 30 minutes and then finish publishing the " marshmallow" and " licorice" series. I like your idea very much. I'm thinking about creating a series dedicated to it. Dunno yet.

Hmm okay, I was JUST about to publish it too. Shouldn't be too hard to add those lines tho. See what I can do. Gotta give me a few. The only thing is
I'm not sure how evenly spaced I can get those lines. Seems pretty time consuming. Can't use that imagine as it is not the correct resolution for our phone. I have the plain flat ready to go. The one with the lines will probably have to wait until I finish one of the series I'm working unfortunately.

Thank you but I'd rather not take credit for someone else's work. I'll just take the idea and make my own version of it. Ill post a screenshot under the "upcoming" post a lil later.

Now Presenting: Iced HoneyComb!! Available under the IcyLicorice Series post. It took a GREAT deal longer than expected. Had to make a brand new template for every one of Swype's 20 layers. It really was a lot of work. I think it was well worth it though. New IcyCayenne up also!

[Part Four]

Awesome work. Much appreciated. I don't know about the other boards because I haven't tried any of them, but the keyboard background color on Icy Liquorice changes to grey when the keyboard is in either of the caps modes. Kind of distracting and doesn't look quite right. Also, the reflections on the keys change and are inconsistent. When caps lock is on, the keys are flat black with no reflection whatsoever. Was all of this done intentionally?

Edit: Also just discovered that the keys all remain lowercase when you press shift or turn caps on in landscape view.

Yeah I noticed the errors you said when I flashed it myself. Will be updating later on to fix all of those
