i have swype beta installed...but root explorer can't find that file u mentioned in the instruction...

Are pushing search and typing it in ? Chances are a word is misspelled. Did you try just scrolling to see if you can find it? Maybe you renamed it at an earlier time? This is the only location that swype beta installs to. Maybe check to ensure its installed?

Entire IcySeries has been updated with changes. Ensure you have version 1.6 for icy and 1.4 for Cayenne and Honeycomb. The difference in shading in the lower -case and upper-case is intentional. The Caps is slightly "icier" in because of the height of the letters. When I tried the lower case this way, it made it look blurry. Not my intended effect so I changed it. Not really something you'd notice in your everyday but thought I'd tell you all before it was noticed. I doubled checked and I think this will be the last update to those mentioned unless another flaw is found or when I figure out the trace color situation.

Also updated OP with changelog. Nothing new other than what I posted above but it will be the new location for changes.

I have a flat one under requests. Im adding lines to seperate the buttons. Is that the kind of flat you were talking about? Blue is such a generic color. Do you know what shade you prefer? The series will include two blues, an indigo and a cyan. Did you want a different shade like a teal?

Wow, its been awhile. I'm back with some good news and bad news. Good news is that I've gotten my promotion that I've been studying for. Yay! Means more time for theming this here swype. Good News #2 A new version of swype has been released 3.26 with a new layout. The numbers are now at the top instead of a keypad type layout. There are automatic updates and I guess some other stuff. It also now uses your system font for the keyboard. I also figured out the trail color change!!! Thats my biggest accomplishment for this theming stuff for me. Its a small thing but it was really making me frustrated you just dont understand. Onto the bad news though along with the keyboard using the system font, it seems as though the color of the actual letters will no longer be themable. Of course I will search for other way but as of now it doesn't seem possible for me to do because the font for your phone can't be colored. (to my knowledge) Even if I did manage to color a system font, it would prove to be annoying in other applications. Another bad new is the character keys. They are grey and you can't really see them. They are again in the system font so that makes me think that somewhere there is just some code telling swype what color it should be. Again, further research is needed. I just wanted to give you an update. Here's a screeny for the first of the Glass Series. I'm experimenting with symbols for the space key so never mind that. The swype trail was from another theme I'm working on and is shown here just to show that I did it. I might make the function buttons at the bottom glass too. Depends. But more than likely I am. Its not really ready to release until I figure out the chraracter key color situtation but I'm just super excited to get back to making these. So that was my quick/not so short update.

Says that it worked, but when I install the signed apk then go to an app where I can use the keyboard, the skin hasn't changed.
