Fernando, the blue transparent Gmail is force closing when I go into settings and choose Labels. I did a work around by switching to the old cyan transparent and changing label settings, then reflashed blue transparent. Wanted to make you aware.

That's why I thought it was new! It wasn't a problem the first install, but after a clean installation of rom and re-installing the clear blue gmail, it started the fc. Weird.

so you reflashed the blue 1.5.2 over the cyan 1.5.1 and it worked momentarily?
Don't remember now, sorry. But I've gone back to transparent cyan 1.5.1 because I was having that bug where you read the mail but the inbox count doesn't change without going into the account on the internet.

As long as my wallpaper is black, I can JUST make out the labels when I need to change one on a message for archiving. Too bad cause I really loved the blue.

I flashed both orange and black n orange and am not able to see the text in the email. It looks like it is coming up black on black. Anyone else?

Fern, I'm using the inverted black blue Gmail now and everything works. I can see labels when I change them within a message, no fc's, and it's beautiful!
Thanks!!!

EDIT: Nevermind, inverted started fc'ing too. Oh well.

Hey Fernando!!!

I flashed a 2.3.3 ROM with a Kernel that is based off the reoriented one, but I applied the ext4 lagfix instead of leaving it at RFS (Not sure if this is the same as in the Droid  )
I do have the new CWM recovery (the orange one).
So, I tried to flash the transparent cyan gmail and, even though it said that it was installed, it wasn't :( I tried this a couple of times, but it didn't work.
I proceeded to extract the zip file, found the apk, and installed it as any other app.
The only difference is that, when opening my emails, the background used to be black and the writing cyan, and now it is the regular white and black :(

Just thought I'd share my experience with you :D

Gmail themes, using? issues?

Is anyone using the gmail themes? Do they work? I'm on a DroidX and a friend has one installed and said it works. I can't seem to find instructions anywhere to flash properly.

After flashing, when I first go into gmail, it gives me a list of my accounts black n blue but when I click one it says gmail needs to sync n starts syncing and when I get into it, it's the stock colors, etc. Even the account list chooser screen is back to stock then.

Any ideas?

I tried transparent-cyan

Are you uninstalling stock Gmail prior to flashing?
