Themed XDA Premium App 4.
We came up with a new tool a awhile ago. [TOOL] Remote Theme Injector - theme your favorite paid apk
With this its possible to theme your Premium paid app without us providing the apk.
Diamond made me a new version coz the old one couldn't handle the smali edits that were needed to theme XDA Premium App 4
For detailed info or simply to say thanks to Diamondback goto his thread linked above.

- extract the archive
- grab the installed pkg.apk file from the mnt/asec/com.quoord.tapatalkxdapre.activity-1/
or (data/app if you use the xposed framework mod to disable asec location) folder on the phone with a root explorer like ES File explorer

- run the RemoteThemeInjector.exe file and follow the steps, it will create a new themed .apk
- copy the new themed xda apk file to the phone, uninstall the previous installed xda premium app and install the new themed one
- start the app and choose in settings under look and feel "Red/Blue/Black etc etc Mode" restart the app and it will be all changed like in the screenshots

@whiskey
I get this message..compiling apk failed, aborting patching!
I have the latest MS Network4.0 & java versions too.

Love your work Whiskey, you are a breath of fresh air on this forum :)

Mine gave me an error, any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

Not sure what's the cause, perhaps you are on Windows 8?
Also make sure to get the correct latest version of xda premium app.
Update in market and grab it again from phone.

Personally I had to hassle a lot to grab it coz it was in asec folder totally extracted or something.

I used xposed framework to reinstall it as regular data/app and pulled it from there.
Not backing it up with Titanium Backup, remove and restore from TB should als place it in /data/app iirc.

Otherwise not sure what's wrong here, works for me and others just fine.

All of my paid apps are in the asec folder. I grab them with root explorer by navigating to:

/mnt/asec/**app name**/pkg.apk and copying it to sdcard to move to computer. There are are files in there but I haven't found a need for them, since they are also in the app itself.

Using the latest apktool and firmware 18 version, mine compiled just fine

Oke guys/gals...WIP (work in progress) :good:

I spend a lot of time on this over the weekend but that app really is hard to hack.

Couldn't find all instances yet but i will share the WIP i got so far.

Its workable, Participated tab and Subscribed threads are full black.
Settings/Main Tab overview is fully black.
Widgets are readable, not fully black yet though.

Like i said, will spend more time on it next weekend but so far you can use this at least.
