I've been doing android tablet installs for a while and I am considering moving to a head unit in my new car. I have some questions about them and was hoping I could get them answered here.
What I really want is a simple device that mirrors my phone to a screen in my car that allows touch input. Not just android auto because its missing things like being able to choose what media player I want to use (unless it can use GMMP and GrooveMusic) I don't want a streaming audio choice when I have a phone that has gigs of music on it. Is there something like that?
On the subject of screen mirroring, when you use it does it work with steering wheel controls? (I can use my phone and skip tracks using the wheel or open voice commands)
And the last thing, Are there any 8 inch units with minimal buttons like the NU5002 with 5.1.1 or higher?
I've looked and haven't been able to find answers to any of these so any help would be of great use to me.
