Hey sounds like you are having a send error. please start from step 1 again and redo please place xoom on flat surface and do not touch the xoom or cables once you begin sending commands. Send me a private message and we can troubleshoot together when I receive.

Thanks from me too. Due to a warranty issue, I wanted to return to factory locked and your guide worked flawlessly.

One word of caution to those wanting to return to 100% stock. For those who've modified their boot splash graphic with Team Eos' Splash Screen Logo Maker, make sure to restore the stock Motorola boot splash FIRST as this process doesn't touch that part of the system.

The custom splash screen stayed. I realized the error of my haste too late and had to re-root, reinstall a ROM, and use Eos' Splash app to restore the original. Then I was able to do the unroot again and everything is stock.

Thanks again for the great guide.

FYI Those who send their devices back for repair using the unroot method,

I recently received my device back after receiving confirmation that my device had been rooted from the repairing company, I initially thought this method reverts your device back to stock -- which it does, but they still find it to be rooted?

Many users have used this method to send back their devices. I know in some new versions of android they produce a flashcount which maybe what you got caught with. Their are developers which are working on ressetting flashcounts before returning. May need to look into that.

Do you think that this Xoom has flash counter in it?
I don't think so..
Maybe it's in the newer tablets and phones like galaxy s 3

The flash counter is not hardware based its software based. This is why the counter can be reset with software. So can a counter be implemented on every device out there with a simple upgrade of software the answer is yes. Many people have used this method to reset their devices and return for warranty or other reasons but if a new software feature has been updated anything is possible.

I'm having an issue with my Verizon branded LTE Xoom, I did not restore the splash screen, which I hope really isn't necessary and was able to get all the way back to Stock 3.2.4 image, but when I try to relock the device, it won't boot , "Failed to boot LNX004" So I unlock again and I'm able to boot again, but the ICS OTA update fails every time, so I'm stuck at 3.2.4!!

Any thoughts guys... I really don't want to root again, just to remove the EOS splash screen, but if that's what it takes to get back to ICS OTA, I guess I'll have to...

It's been many months without my XOOM, but I am thinking I didn't get to relock since, to my surprise, the logo remained custom. I immediately rerooted and restored the splash. So, I'm not sure if that's holding you back, sorry.

Obrigado!!
