How long will this get major Android updates for? How much longer for security updates? I feel like the answer to this is maybe a year and no more at all. Did this launch with 9 and get 10?

Would you recommend this vs Samsung S20 FE (g8x 439 CAD vs S20fe $650)

It was launched on Android 9 and already received Android 10 and will get Android 11 for sure.

Drawback is LG hasn't allowed unlocking bootloader yet so no custom rom support as of now. May be in future it will get.
