Does it happens on CWM? If not, then it's a ROM problem. Try wipe > reflash > wipe

Basically ACE battery life is poor.
And it is depends upon the number of services running in the background.
Try to disable the unwanted items with thr help of autoruns or similar apps.
It will increase the performance.
