Did you try what I mentioned in post #2. It rebooted mine too after I saw the check mark on my watch

Its interesting that'd you said that cause when I first downloaded kingroot I tried it a few times with no success and then I'd give up and move on to try other methods. I never thought to keep trying 6-7 times in a row until it just worked haha. Well this morning after your reply I decided to try it again. Took about 10mins and several reboots but its working now. Interesting how that works.
I do have another question now. The launcher that comes with this thing is OK but not great. Nova launcher or apex would be better I think but so far as I can tell there is no method or app that'll show the notification panel when using any other launcher. I can't even get it to show up in apps that use full screen. I've tried all the apps I could find using google and play store. Some of the apps I downloaded worked once and then never again. After installing some, it would show the notification bar for a brief moment and the it was gone again until I went back to the home screen.

I installed xposed then I used the mod in post 1
Do NOT use gravity box the screen will go black with just a backlit glow (luckily I recovered mine) I will post which exposed mods work in first post:good:

Edit: I change the following things in build prop. To (TrueSmart) spell it like it is in build prop...to get the omate companion app to work.

@lzwfkv - have you purchased the M7 yet, apologies if i've asked this before - i think only two people have the M7 so far.

Yes i did...it was in my city sorting center of UPS this morning, then i hope to get it tomorrow or the day after.
As to the camera, i'll let answer who has it un his hands, bit i'm afraid it is 2-3 mpx interpolated even though specs say 5 mpx on the paper.

I have had my IMACWEAR M7 Sparta for a few months. I switched from AT&T to TMobile - TMobile has Wi Fi calling and better coverage and works better with the M7. I have a few questions and would like to buy a spare charger cradle and band but despite a great deal of searching have found no support at all for the M7. Does anyone have any information on where to buy accessories and help for the M7?

Off topic from your question ... The classic question, how is the battery life?
Is the cam 5MP or 3MP interpolated?

The battery is 600MAH and lasts with medium / light use two days. The camera is 5mp works well but because of being on the side of the watch It takes practice to use.

Not an owner, the battery life is as good as it gets, but I was hoping for 3 days, I guess one could squeeze 3 days if tweaked.

iMacwear Sparta M7 stockfirmware or backup firmware

I tried to flash my iMacwear SPARTA M7 Smart Watch Phone , 4 GB ROM, Android 4.4 OS, bought in April 2015. I did use http://forum.xda-developers.com/omat...mware-t2998434 for that.
SP Flash Tool worked fine until the final window Download Ok. After that I can not reboot or strat my watch.
I tried to solve this problem, using different Omate Roms with different scatter text files. Every time I removed battery plugged again for flashing. It goes OK , shows "Download DA 100%" in red bar. After some seconds comes error S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032). I tried formatting, downloading, memory test byt the result was the same.

I need iMacwear m7 original factory rom 4.4.2 for unbrick my watch. Please help.

1) I saw a YouTube review where it was said that the 3G network signal strength is not so great. Does this depend on the operator or is the antenna signal really low?

2) Since the display is quite small, is it possible to have word flow/swype keyboard to the device? That would be a tremendous help while typing with the device.

1) haven't really tested out 3g but I did change in the build prop (bgw.current3gband.0) I change it to a 1 to enable it but haven't put my sim card back in yet.

2) Yes you can use Swype keyboard on it work's well

3) BACK UP the m7 using mtk droid tools...... And for the love of god do not flash any of the omate truesmart ROMs :good:

Edit: Root first then use this to back up i started at(How to make a simple backup....start at 1. and go through till you get to step 13.(DON'T DO STEP 13). and stop there. Use my root method and recovery method.

Flashing a rom, especially another device's one, is not the same thing as rooting it. By the way, the device i was supplied with android 4.2.2 is already rooted and i just had to copy and enable su with adb via command line, likely the same will be on 4.4.2 versions.

Through a kickstarter funding campaign and it is the original one where all these standalone anoroid watches come from (clones). the project failed somewhere and it was never able to deliver the promises so only underperformant devices were provided to whom did preorder it, but it is an outdated one now and i believe it cannot be purchased anymore.
Vibration is one of the android volume levels so you can set vibration on imacwear as well being a full android device.

Simple1i and all i just was delivered the imacwear m7 replacement battery i ordered for test from chinabrands.com . excellent presales service, the battery was shipped within 24 hrs from the order (3.75 $ shipping included, no tracking via china post) and it arrived to italy in a couple of weeks.
I have not tried to mount the battery in the watch yet, nevertheless the shape and size seem to perfectly fit m7. Also the look and labels of battery seem to be the original ones; i'll give you an update and confirmation once i install it.

It's good to know about the history of that Omate since I noticed that some devices are still sold @ Amazon but they're all 4.2.2.

My iMacwear should be 4.4 but if it won't be, then I'll have to update it. Hopefully they'll release a Lollipop version someday???

Yeah, I know the difference between rooting and flashing so no probs about it.

It's also a very good piece of news that the watch has a vibration alert :good: It isn't mentioned in any of those specifications/reviews I've seen about that watch. For me that vibration alert is a deal breaker. Hopefully it'll be strong enough and not so lousy as in those Lumia phones (their vibration alerts suck big time).

Thank you. I ordered a clone for $130 include shipping, it arrived in 4 days to England, came with Android 4.4.2 [emoji3] good seller from Alibaba.com

I'll take a look at the battery to compare with the imacwear battery, to see if they are the same [emoji51]

Step1: I need to learn how to restore it if it gets bricked, then Step2: root it.

I'll post more info soon. The imacwear and my clone look pretty much identical.

Do you know what app I can use to show the watch's specs?

I'm left handed and wear the watch on my right hand. Is it possible to turn the display upside down so that the camera would be facing towards my fingers?
