All too often I witness someone shoving an expensive unprotected phone in their tight ass-pocket, as if it so tough it could never flex, and it makes me cringe.
IT FLEXES! And there's dust particles made of granite and concrete floating about everywhere, including that tight ass-pocket! LOL!
If you treat a phone like it's an expendable piece of crap, that's exactly what it will look like in no time, no matter how much you paid for it. If you treat this phone like you spent a thousand bucks on it, it should look like a thousand dollar phone in a year, IMO, and the cheapest glass screen protector should last months. If it doesn't last, it's because you "oops"ed your phone. If you keep "oops"ing it, you're gonna break it, simple as that.
Now in an effort to actually add something of VALUE to my post, I'll say this;
During the curing process of my installation of the Whitestone, I inadvertantly pulled out a tiny bit of the partially cured glue from the edge while wiping it down for the second time with the alcohol wipe. That created a tiny edge-bubble. I was able to dab a bit of glue onto it from the empty tube using a toothpick, and it sucked right into the tiny void. I quickly reapplied the UV light to cure it.
There MIGHT be the chance at the first sign of lifting that you could do something similar with the second tube of glue that is provided with the kit. For those that need to do it more often, simply regard it as a sort of touch-up maintenance now and again.
I'm not going to argue about whether that should even be necessary given the cost of the protection, as that's a moot point to me. I think we can all agree that in the end, results are the point.
