This is like my 7th whitestone dome glass screen that has lifted from the edges!!

Everyone talks about how it sticks but nobody says how fragile it is for falls, I broke two after a small fall and now I'm looking for a valid substitute, but apparently, it does not exist.

I got lucky I guess, mine fell off the bathroom sink table onto the bathroom tile face down and only received a minor hairline scratch. I was sure it would be cracked.

what is clear, even in your case is extreme fragility of this glass for falls, we look elsewhere.

That's not clear at all lol, only anecdotal. Tempered glass isn't indestructible. Better that it break than the screen when it hits something hard like tile, etc.

I bought the Whitestone Dome and the installation went perfect. 2 days later I found a small crack at one side with two hairlines going -thankfully- to the bottom of the screen. I said thankfully because it means that the hairlines will not spread all over the screen and they're barely noticeable right now. A replacement set is about $30. I found not one but two screen protectos in a bundle for about 13 bucks with oleophobic coating already instaled and two bottles of UV glue. I've checked the photo reviews and I've seen that the cutouts are exactly the same as the WSD glass, so I'm almost sure that it's made in the same factory. it also means that I can use the same tray from the WSD kit. I ordered it and it should arrive in two weeks. I'll tell you guys how it ended then. As of right now, I'm sure to say that Whitestone is ripping off our pockets. Check AliExpress guys, there're a lot of good deals with good, unbiased reviews.

So I noticed my Whitestone Dome Glass has a very very unnoticeable hairline crack.

I've got a ton of other tempered glass that have the adhesive only on the edges. I have a spare adhesive vile from Whitestone and was wondering if anyone has tried to install the tempered glass with edge adhesive but added the Whitestone adhesive to make it full adhesive? I know this sounds crazy.

I thought about it and read somewhere that its possible to mix both. Just try you have nothing to lose expect glue and glass ;)

I was thinking about using baseus note 8 glass cause its full cover but I need to buy it again. I like full glue glass cause screen is black as is should but most of them are case friendly and sensivity is not so good. Edge adhesive suck too. Perfect would be to mix both.

I ordered this and it arrived in Norway within one week. It was sent from Malaysia.
GRAZIE, BUT I DRESS IN ITALY and that site for me indicates 60 days.
however whitstone is not worth anything, I discovered that after the last fall (from 50 cm in height), not only the whitstone glass was broken but also the glass of the phone has a crack.

Now I'm waiting for notes 9.

It was also 60 days for me on the website but I already have whitestone on my phone and ordered it for backup.
Surprised that it arrived so fast.

Good luck with note 9 :)

the point is that whitestone does not rotate at all from falls even 50cm in height, is useful only against scratches, is it worth?

Hmm I'm not fully understanding you here...what do you mean "does not rotate at all from falls"? It's obviously not supposed to rotate, so you must mean something else instead?

sorry, I meant not protecting from falls, even from 50 cm in height, I had a whiteston glass and after a small fall now I have glass whitestone and broken glass of the phone.
And I do not think the whitestone house repay me the damage done on the phone, be careful.

Ah I see. Sorry to hear that. Did you have a case on it too when it fell, or just the whitestone?

Yes, i have a pitaka case but it's not important, because with or without a case, if the phone falls, the glass does not absolutely protect the display.
I've already dropped mine a few times and thankfully everything is still intact, but tempered glass is not unbreakable of course. At some point impact is impact, but it can still help protect against scratches and light bumps.

I installed my first dome glass 20 days ago and the only issue I got so far is that the glue went outside the phone from the bottom and also glued the plastic mould so it was a pain to remove the phone without breaking the glass.

So far no other issue, but it's not edge to edge. It actually covers the same size area as my old Force Glass which was quite a disappointment.

The only things that change is that it doesn't got black adhesive borders and no matrix either.

I don't know if it really worth the pain actually.
