Which camera app you tried for better results?

I'm not saying the picture itself was better, just that it showed much crisper on the screen when the camera was open and ready to take a shot, similar to the gallery issue. It could just be me being overly paranoid now, but I'm fairly certain I'm not. The app was WhatsApp and I've also tried it on others as well.

If it whats app then I can say the change u saw was due to dense pixels in 4:3 ratio, u can try same in vivo camera app by changing camera ratio to 4:3. I tried many cameras on vivo nex including google gcam etc but best result is given by official app only. though still there is lot of improvement scope in the official app and latest updated did a 20% increase in output quality but more is expected after being flagship and we paid lot for buying it. I think the result output is not best bcz the compression algorithm used for reducing size after taking picture is making the quality loss.

That's the thing though, the aspect ratio was the same (full screen) as when I use the Vivo camera. I do agree, while the camera isn't terrible, you're right, this is a premium flagship and it could be much better, no question.

I tried whats app pic too with full screen but still for me vivo camera is giving better results and I have enable AI for pictures so that it gives correct color balance and sharpness.

No, I agree. The camera app that's stock on the phone takes better pictures, or at least looks the same as the other 3rd party app pics. What I was referring to was the display color and saturation when you're just sitting idle waiting to take a picture

We have received this already in the Indian Rom and it's useless. Don't improve the color reproduction in anyway and even had option to adjust the color temperature is very basic.

Yeah, it's a basic add that doesn't do much. If only Vivo would allow us to unlock the true potential of this device
