My G900V is BPB1 on 5.0 and I haven't managed to root it so I can install the update the good old fashioned legit way through System Updates.
I have 2 Gmail accounts on this phone however that are stuck in that weird place where 2-step verification is enabled, I no longer have the same phone number of access to old phone to log in through, and essentially have no other means to get into these accounts other than the fact they are logged in on my S5.
My main question is if/when I decide to update is it going to be a factory data level update? Will it wipe User Data and leave me with no access permanently? Or will it just boot up with same User Data with a new look?
This is the deciding factor in my updating it. Please help lol
