I believe this ROM has the 900Mhz / 2100 Mhz modem.

If you are in the USA:

To fix your 3G, this should do the trick:

Download to phone.
Boot to recovery (TWRP).
Wipe dalvik and cache.
Install file Modem-850.zip
Wipe dalvik and cache again. (trust me)
Reboot device.

Allow at least an hour for the signal to stabilize. with your WiFi disabled - use your data normally. This should give the same connectivity as OEM. Try setting your APN as Bearer Unspecified if it is giving you issues.

After this, bluetooth seemed to work much better, but it still took forever (and multiple attempts) for devices to pair. Once paired, everything has worked smoothly so far. To pair, I played with turning off WiFi. Once paired, it was GTG. I have no Bluetooth LE devices nor do I connect automobiles, so this may not do it for you, but it is worth a shot.

I`m in Germany but you`re right, 850 should be the correct modem... But BT is a problem... I use external GPS Receivers, they worked with some luck. A connection to my car mediasystem and the OTG dongle was impossible, they were not found by the phones BT. My headphone was found, but pairing was impossible and on some other gadgets i had only 1 second for typing the pairing code...

P.S.: I used the word damn because the rest of the rom was working stable, including xposed....

I'm using ressurection remix that is on the needrom website (I don't know if it's the same), but it's still a little buggy...

I would vote the Neuropapa ROM, with the 850Mhz zip file installed.

HI,
My thl 5000 is bricked. Nothing happens at all. i tried the rest button etc, nothing. I cant flash it because it seems there is no power and the computer doesn't recognize it. what is strange is that once in a while i can get it to charge, including red status light and battery logo on screen. but then if i push any buttons, screen goes blank, sometimes with backlight.
unfortunately i cannot replicate any of this anymore, hence i cant try to flash. Any ideas on how to get it to charge again/ a way to flash it?

Thanks, the battery is built in, so I would have to disassemble the whole phone to get it out. is that the only way?

I know it's build it and you don't need to disassemble the whole phone. Just remove the back cover and unscrew the screws keeping it in place. The battery should come off easily

Hello, guys. I am in a need of some help.
I have an issue with my girlfriends thl 5000. The phone went crazy after I placed my SIM into her phone. It got locked and I had to flash a new ROM. It is now with an original one from THL site. The ROM is not what we had before. The phone is missing leather pattern and gestures, the notification bar is not very reaponsive and the phone keeps restarting. Mainly while charging. Lately whenever it feels like it. Could you please guide me how to:
Back up her current settings, app data, contats and stuff. The phone is not rooted.
Root the phone.
Install a new ROM ( If possible link me to the stock ROM, that has those options, leather patter and gestures).
Please have in mind, that i am a newb. So please guide me as if I am an idiot.

Hi I try Brin to life my old thl 5000 my power button was replaced few times and all Soldering points are gone from mainboard. Can anybody help me to traced some other Soldering points on mainboard to turn phone on ?

Hello. I have a problem with the device. The internal storage was corrupted. I formatted and flashed again, but I lost imei. I fixed the imei problem but the storage problem is still there and also I noticed that the GPS has satellites in view but not use them so I cannot navigate. Does that have to do with the storage problem?
