Ok so yesterday I was messing around and clicked the 'Top HD Games' icon in my app list just to check to see if there were any new offerings at the Gameloft store for the tab.
When I landed at the webpage across the top the banner read " Acer Get Your 3 Free Games!". I had to enter the serial number of my tab and was instantly offered the games Asphalt 6 Adrenaline HD, Dungeon Hunter 2 HD and N.O.V.A. 2 HD.

I have no idea if this offer will show using a more customized rom. I am running the near stock 3.2 from ezterry. And I don't know if this is important or not but I let the app open the page with the stock browser.

Edit- Here's the link that the app sends you to in case your rom doesn't have the app...

I already own the three games that they are giving us, so it is a wash for me. Maybe some of you will have some luck. Post your success or otherwise below, maybe even reference the rom you are using.

Happy gaming!

Thanks! The link worked, but unfortuntely I don't have my serial number handy at the moment. Under device info, it says unknown. I figured it would say on the side sticker too, but it's not there either. Should be on the box, I hope - I'll check when I get home :p

I noticed this yesterday as well. I'm running the rooted stock 3.2 ROM from kekinash. Games downloaded fine from the stock browser, although they are big ones and all require additional downloads after install.

Sadly I threw away my box and the device doesn't display Serial or SNID so I'll have to pass on this offer.
If you registered with Acer you might be able to retrieve it from there. I just looked and mine is on the site.

To get to it you have to click the 'Register' tab at the bottom of the Acer homepage. Then sign in. You should get a page that has a button to show you your products. The SN should be there.

Please post if successful and I will add this to the op if it works.

I tried both.
Settings=>About tablet=>Device information=>Code SN is empty and Acer didn't register my device. Only my laptop is visible there although I did register both.
Meh. I'll live. =)

the serial number is under the sd card slot door
No. That's the SNID. It's not the serial number but a service number. It should tell you the serial if you enter it on Acer's website but it doesn't work for me (I get an Invalid SNID number error).

I'll try the stock rom next. I think that custom roms (or actually kernels) don't report the serial number.

EDIT: I can confirm that it's something to do with custom kernels. Works fine on a custom rom with a stock kernel.
