Time is off after flashing Rom's

Ok, so for the last month or so after flashing a Rom the time on my phone will be ahead like an hour and a half. More like 1hr 37 minutes. Usually rebooting the phone gets it resolved, but it is getting a little irritating to look at my phone for the time and think it is later than it really is. It would be funny to leave work an hour and half early though. lol

Anyway, not sure if this is something I should really worry about or what. It doesn't seem to be Rom related. I have had the probelm with AOSP/AOKP, Newt one XxX, Viper, and Neo's Rage Roms. Not sure if recovery would do that or not, but I'm running Amon-Ra, I think 3.15.

Edit: Oh yeah, and when the time is off, if I go to settings/date & time it has the correct time zone of Pacific time and everything. Changing things in there makes no difference. I still have to power off and reboot.

in your "location services" do you have google search and google location ticked?
yeah, I always make sure that all location services are enabled.

The funny part is that I can see in the date and time settings that it correctly has determined me to be in the pacific time zone.

Same thing happens to me every now and then. Its usually off 40 minutes or so for me. Funny u said id be funny if u left work early cause one day me and my buddy were playing golf and he ended up being 40 minutes late cause my phones time was off again lol. And yup same thing happens to me in the time settings. They all show to be correct and it won't fix without a reboot. Although it hasn't happened to me in the last month or so.

I doubt that's the problem as I never dirty flash no matter what. I always wipe my ass. And its also corrected with a reboot. I honestly think its just a location problem on Verizon's end...but then again who knows.

He said he tried it on multiple ROMs, but maybe that was restoring a nandroid.
Try a clean flash.

Yeah, I always clean flash. I wipe System, cache, and dalvik. Plus Newts One XxX has a wipe script too. :)

I never enable any location services and haven't had a time problem before.

You aren't pulling system apps before you flash are you? Someone posted about that today but I don't remember who.

I've run into the same thing since I started using viper. All settings are correct, clean flash, no nandroid or titanium. Sometimes it's 40 minutes, sometimes an hour, seems totally random. Never happened until going to the sense 4 ROM. A reboot always straightens it out. Weird.

Weird. I flashed the EclipticRez Rom and it didn't have this problem. Every other Rom I've flashed for a while did, but this one didn't. Must be something in the Rom's somewhere. Not a big deal by any means, easy to deal with.

Yea I have this happening to me right now on my laptop. I fix the time and maybe few hours later or days, it's random it will go back 3 hours. IT"S been pissin me off and I can't or don't know how to fix it. I feel stupid doing this but I google search what time it is so I can find out the time when I'm on my laptop.
