Hello, when I first switch my phone on it takes about three minutes before the correct time is displayed, when it first starts its shows something like 1st jan 1970. Anyone else noticed this happening
Hi,

The phone gets it's time from the carrier.
If 1970 is coming up,then, you may have a problem with your sim card.
Is it old?
Is it properly seated?

:)

I had this problem too with a sim that was cut-down from normal to micro sim. Making the initial connection took forever too.

Got a new (micro) from my provider and all is well now.

Its a brand new sim card I had when I ported my number over. Dont know if that has anything to do with it as the number ported across but the sim number stays the same.

Hi,

I would take it up with your carrier.
They may send you another one.
