One of the issues with using Netflix in multi-window is that the player pauses when its window loses focus. With this "trick" we can make the Netflix player think the focus was not changed. Thanks to tarheeldan for sharing his experience with it.
It's really very easy.
1) Load Netflix and another app you want to use in multi-window.
2) Play a movie/tv show. While the player is loading, touch the other window to bring it into focus.
3) The video should play while you have full control of the other window.
Of course touching the netflix window will bring it back into focus and pause it again when you leave it. Just repeat the steps above to make it stop pausing again.
I'm including a build of Netflix I modified to add portrait and rotation support if you want it:
Netflix 2.1.0 build 725 - http://goo.gl/cx8IS
This build will not detect market updates, though. I'm using this build, so I'll probably manually update versions occasionally.
