I'm in one of the cities and so far it's a touch slower. ;) I get an ok signal here at work though so I'm going to test more around town. I usually average 6-7 Mbps with max 10 Mbps seen. That's pretty good so I don't really expect a huge change.

but the sensation still supposed to be able to get 14 mbps down, so i would think it would still be faster than what i was seeing b4, just a thought

They advertise best possible connection. Like home internet, Comcast promises me 20's but im around 15's. I bet if you had a capable device and were standing on top of a wireless tower you would be able to get the bandwith their promising.

Its wireless, signal depends on distance, buildings, planes, birds...how fat your hands are.. Im close to rockford, IL and I didnt notice anything but no service for about 2 hrs last night. Speed is still same as before 8mbs down 1.8mbs up.

For a phone Im not complaining. **** I'm lucky to have service in my town this is the city I live in http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20110627/news/706279805/
T-mobile is suing us :D

Our device will at best only handle 14 Mbps... And that occurs if your the only one using data service which is never the case.... Otherwise expect 8 mbps on average

I wish. 8Mbs is the max i've hit. On average my speeds aren't that much faster than they were with my Vibrant (non 4G). Average speeds are in the 2-3Mbs range. Definitely nothing to write home about. ;)

I'm already aware of what you all are saying. I complain because I used to be able to hit 6mbps before, and now I never go above 4 in the same area; matter of fact, make that any area...

Edit: the above poster has my exact story..fastest speeds I had was the 6-7 mbps on the vibrant which wasn't even rated at 14.4 mbps, and that was a whole year ago
