Backup SDM with titanium or Rom toolkit and then delete it. You won't be able to get OTA update anymore.
Just did this this morning after getting the update message. Thanks!!!Backup SDM with titanium or Rom toolkit and then delete it. You won't be able to get OTA update anymore.
there is more than one way to skin a cat...point op is making is to make sure sdm 1.0 is disabled.I just used Root Exolorer and renamed it SDM.apk.old then did the same with SDM.odex.old

It will install if you do not do what the op has said to do. If you dont want it you better get rid of the sdm 1.0Yesterday I was able to reject, this morning it forced me to defer. I went the max days but I assume if I freeze this app it won't install automatically on me (fingers crossed)...
it should only say SDM. the icon for it is a green box with an up arrow inside it.alright ... after looking for SDM 1.0 in Backup / Restore .... i only see 1.0 is that it ?
when i scroll down i dont see SDM 1.0
when i look for it in root explorer i cant find it there either ???
is it possible i deleted it ? and forgot ?
Ya its gone alreadyRunning Beans Build 6 and can't find any SDM files in this ROM. Have they been removed? I also haven't gotten any notices.

Yes you did it right. I wouldn't even back it up because you could just flash the new update using the zip from the dev section. Or go back to rev3 and get it OTA.So can someone tell me if I did this right.
I went to Titanum Backup found the sdm 1.0 file
Backed it up then uninstalled it inside the Titanum Backup app
Also before this I deferred the OTA
Ok sounds goodYes you did it right. I wouldn't even back it up because you could just flash the new update using the zip from the dev section. Or go back to rev3 and get it OTA.
