Try "default_password". I tried it on my S7 and it worked!

You, sir, are a brilliant person. I know this post is ... well, a year late, perhaps more? But time makes no difference. You saved my S7 Edge, too. I owe you any number of pints!

Okay my S7 is on one attempt left of getting off this screen and I am so upset that Samsung is unable to set this code to default after verifying information so we can do this our selves. How did you do default password and what is the default?

Please and thank you

I did also get the "error" to put in a password i never created after updating my S7. First of all i'd factory reset it but that didn't work. After that i downgraded from 7.0 to 6.0.1 using odin and sammobile firmware files, did another hard reset and the "error" was gone. After that i flashed the newest software using odin and sammobile firmware files again and my S7 works like a sharm.
