working / not working:

Working:
- Phone, wifi, data, BT etc.

Not working :)
- camera (yes, it's completely broken) but screenshot works though...
- wifi hotspot (tonyp fix from cm10.1 should still work, I just didn't have time yet to check, will do so later)
- all the cm10.1 bugs are still there of course
For users:

A download of the newest newbl testbuild is here:
DOWNLOAD>>>>> GO HERE

It comes with kk 126 + kowalskimanager, mini gapps for 4.3 and tonyp fix for the performance menu to OC on tegra devices.
Apart from that it's a mostly clean cm10.2 build.

Installation instructions:
Do a full wipe. Do another reboot after the first boot. Don't *****.

PLEASE ENABLE 2ND CORE AUTO HOT PLUG IF YOU ARE USING THE KOWALSKY KERNEL TO AVOID REBOOT WHILE CONNECTING TO PC

Well I'm not strictly using this build but a build of my own (just to clarify, I'm using tonyp's sources), but:
- It's damn smooth
- Nothing major, immediately visible changes in the OS, 4.3 is mostly under-the-hood stuff.
- No real issues except the camera. This is excellent work!

Well I'm not strictly using this build but a build of my own (just to clarify, I'm using tonyp's sources), but:
- Dirty flashing from T-Build 5 works great (SO FAR!!! i'm actually expecting some issues, we'll see)
- It's damn smooth
- Nothing major, immediately visible changes in the OS, 4.3 is mostly under-the-hood stuff.
where can i download build-05 rom by tonyp. i can't see on his thread. thank you!

First of all: Thanks for all the great work and effort everyone puts into this rom! I really appreciate all the work! Great developers and a great community! :highfive:

Just a quick question: Is a "normal" gaaps version with neon compatibility somewhere available? Unfortunately I could not find something in any thread just this:

Great news @Epsylon3

Regarding gapps:
You can take 4.3 gapps, but keep in mind that the packages floating around (e.g. here) won't be neon compatible.
I've put some work into 4.2 tegra2 compatible gapps some time ago - and I've desribed the steps how to a) detect neon incompatibilities (post 1) and b) which steps I took to get rid of them (post 2).

Since our Hardware, is not Neon compatible, we're not able to benefit from it, and the neon coding causes things to FC on our phone. (like keyboard)

so tony, being the magical Penguin he is, Fixed a version of Gapps that 4.2 without the neon codings. so we're able to run them without the force closes.

There something that I don't know and don't understand:
I flashed official CM 10.1 (android 4.2.2) with jb 2013 gapps and didn't have problems.

if your using 3rd party add ons, you may never notice anything. but if your using default stuff, you will eventually. most marked bug was the keyboard closing mid message. but others were reported.

Its just a matter of time til you do experience something odd, since its a hardware issue that our phone simply cannot run Neon codes. so as something you may install in the future that needs neon, you'll be wondering why its crashing.

Sounds like hdmi is actually less broken then :) can we then at least have portrait mode on both phone and TV now?

Yes we can have now normal portrait mode on both phone and tv.
This rom is pretty great its smooth and stable i don't know how but the nexus live wallpaper mixed up with an htc theme from playstore so now i have htc background with nexus:eek:

Gta3 is pretty smooth on this rom even on 803mhz or around that.
Sometimes it laggs but if you tweak it a bit or delete audio files it wil go faster. But only on high speed in cars it laggs
