utilis to reboot into recovery e.g. quick boot, or the button in rom customizer, don't work either.

any way to check if cwm installed?

When sony logo appears, repeatedly press the volume down button until cwm recovery appears.
Hope this helps.
yeah i think that's what i'm doing. Sony logo or Xperia logo? do you let go at the vibrate or before? how fast do you tap?

holding too long just puts you into Safe Mode and breaks my widgets and some other things!

Good news! You installed recovery correctly, but in order to enter recovery, you must mash the volume down button as soon as Sony logo appears.

You must tap it really fast!!!

Hit thanks button if I helped you :good:

i'll try that later thanks.

can no apps get you into Recovery on Xperia ICS? always how i did it with my Blade/G300.. even have a reboot to recovery option on shutdown menu in CM7. saves any hassle with timing etc.

i was pressing VolDown pretty fast.

what is different?

i don't know. i was asking if the way to access CWM in ICS/b.54 would be different than other roms, perhaps explaining why i can't access CWM?

just found Cerberus as root needs to be installed from zip using CWM (or complicated console method), so another reason to get this working!

thanks

Repeated pressing as soon as sony logo appears

Led bar turning on during charging is very annoying, especially when I'm trying to use the phone at night. Using quiet hours doesn't switch it off, anybody know any other way to switch it off? Other then that I love this rom, sooo smooth and the customisation is endless.
Thanks!!

Odp: too stupid to get into CWM touch on a U

nope, still can't do it. phone boots like this:

black > SONY > Experia > blue light > lockscreen

when exactly do you press, and how fast?
When you press on button and feel quick vibrate, you must pressing volume down.
