Also stuck...

Similar to others, I'm stuck with either fastboot or the google logo. I can't unlock the bootloader because it just sticks at "<bootloader> erasing userdata". I tried Dead_Nexus7, but it appears to fail because the bootloader is locked. So I'm stuck. Anyone find a solution to get past this?
